I am almost done shopping and I have everything already wrapped that I have. Baking is another story. I am just not in the mood to do it. Now I just found out that I may have the Christmas Eve get together at my house this year. It's getting to the point where my Mom doesn't have the room anymore. I will have 22 people at my house. My Mom is worried that I will have too much to do. I said not to worry that I thrive on this stuff. I love to have get-togethers at my house. I get too stressed at my Mom's because she don't have things organized. I have to have everything in order when it comes to the buffet and where things should be placed and so forth. If it's not it will drive me insane.

I got some goodies on Saturday. Gingerbread stuff for my kitchen. I will wait until New Years Eve to get other stuff. That is when it usually goes to 75% off.

I don't see the harm in her asking if she could still get the deal. I know I would of. It never hurts to ask. I don't think she was upset being told that she couldn't take advantage of the deal, it was how she was treated.

All I have to say after reading these posts is that I don't know of too many people who can say they actually love thier jobs. Most people work to earn a paycheck not to just have something to do. I have worked retail at different times in my life and you meet all kinds of people. Most are nice. You do get a few that have their panties in a bunch and are rude. I find if you talk nice to them they usually calm down and change their tune a bit. Holidays are stressful for both employees and customers. Everyone needs to step back and take a deep breath. Everyone will have to deal with an a$$ sometime in their life. You just have to decide how you will deal with it. I usually tend to feel sorry for people that are so miserable and let it go. Depends on what kind of day I having too We're only human.

I spend the same amount of money on each. They are old enough to understand what things cost and why one has more to open than the other. I however feel guilty about it. I try to even it out as much as possible. I think that is why I blow my budget every year.

I wonder what they would do if you go to the store and say you want to order the $1 crockpot that is on-line.

My dh is the worst at keeping my presents a secret. He went shopping today for me and cam home and handed me a little box to open right away. I said no that I wanted to wait for Christmas. He made me open it anyway. He said it was a 'just because' gift and that I had to open it. He got me a pretty ring.

You guys are awful . You are supposed to be surprised so quit snooping. We'll put you guys over in the other thread about teenagers sneeking a peek at their presents early I hope you get jewelry, every woman loves to get something sparkly on Christmas morning :)

My ds12 fessed up that they snooped 2 years ago and boy was I upset. I think the best part about Christmas is watching the surprise on their faces as they open their gifts. I let them know how upset I was and they said they never did it again. I told them they will ruin my Christmas if they do stuff like that and I think they took it to heart.

Okay, mine says $10 off $10 when you use your mastercard. I don't want to use a credit card, so do you think they will still accept it if I find something close to $10. Who would want to charge a couple bucks.

I got my SS gift today. All I can say is wow, thank you so much. I got a strawberry swirl cheesecake . It was quite a surprise getting a cooler delivered by the UPS guy. I have no clue as to who got it for me since it was from Hickory Farms. It's funny how I was hungry for one of those too. Thanks again!!!

I bought a set and took them back because they were horrible. I washed them twice and they were still stiff as a board. I heard you have to wear them out in order for them to be soft. I am not that patient.

I am confused on the spam management. I'm thinking that is only for the mods. So I think there should be some kind of "button" to push to alert the mods of spam.

Awesome. I know that the ascencia (sp) is on sale this week for $14.99 and there is a coupon in that booklet for $50 off. I am going to try to get the full $50 off by buying a bunch of extra stuff so my total is high. I did it once before but I don't know how my luck will be this time. There is also a $14.99 rebate with it too.

great deal, but not available in my area. My idea of self-watering is a hose in the pot and it being on a timer so I don't even have to turn it on. lol I am lazy when it comes to watering my plants.
