  1. I feel your pain. Mine died on me yesterday. I was on the phone for hours arguing with them about the warranty. The motor went out in it and it is covered but they wanted me to pay someone to come out and fix it when dh can do it himself. I finally got my way and they are sending me a new motor. I don't give up too easily. My best advice also would be to check with your local freecycle group. I see them posted all of the time in my area. As long as it washes until you save up for a better one.

  3. That is what it is around here. Anywhere from 3.05 to 3.09. I just read in the paper that they want to add more tax per gallon in PA for the roads. Like it is not high enough already.
  4. Sounds like an interesting story. It looks like you are around my area too.
  5. I was going to say the same thing when I saw the title. They are just stupid. I keep seeing more and more threads lately about walmart. I am surprised they have many customers anymore.
  6. I was thinking about the whole recall thing. I think that is why everyone will be getting free P-butter. We all got free Pollys and Tylenol. What else was recalled recently? Maybe there will be more good coupons to come.
  7. Most stores in my area are having the same sale too.
  8. I just came back from Yankee Candle. 9. Okay, now get this crap. I went to Target tonight to get the game. They were out of stock so I asked for a raincheck. They said they couldn't give me one so I asked for an actual sales circular so I can price match at walmart. The very nice manager said sure he would go get me one. I thought that was just awesome he would do that. Anyhow, I head over to walmart ready to whip out my ad and they have all the games marked down to $37 now. After they threw a fit about not price-matching my printed ad they mark them down anyway. Man how I wish I would of saw that rude manager then .
  10. BOGO select candles 50% off gift baskets http://www.yankeecandle.com/yc/html/retail/Email_HTML/web_ClearanceSale2007.html Also, don't forget to print out a coupon to save even more.... http://www.yankeecandle.com/yc/html/retail/Email_HTML/registerForCouponsWebNEW.html
  11. Thanks so much for all you do. I really enjoyed myself this year.
  12. No, my son just said to forget about it. He was disgusted too. I still have a few days to get to Target.
  13. I tried to do the same at Walmart today. I didn't have the ad since it didn't come in my paper this week. So I printed the ad fron on-line. They refused to take it because I got it from the internet. I even talked to the manager and asked if he would rather me spend my money at Target(which I would rather ). It says Target weekly ad on the paper and he just walked away from me while I was trying to talk to him. How rude! Walmart sucks! The only reason I tried to price match there was because ds got a gift card for there and it wasn't from me.
  14. Yes, I agree on that one. I ordered my son shoes for school and he didn't like them, so they sent me a different pair right away before the others were returned as an even exchange. No extra money out of my pocket. I was impressed.
  15. Yes, I seen it too. My son wanted Need for Speed Pro Street XBOX360 for Christmas. I am glad we waited and will save $23
  16. Gosh it sounds so familiar. I remember those days. I finally got fed up with it and opened my mouth and told them. Things are better now that the kids are older and dh helps out more. Dh even does good with the gift-giving now. He actually puts some serious thought into what he wants to get me now. I have been married 16 years and it took 14 for him to finally get it. Hopefully things will be better next year.l
  17. I need to pick up some more lights for next year. I bought some last year but I didn't think my shrubbery and trees would grow that much. I need to be prepared for next year because it just killed me to pay full price for the extra sets I needed for this year.
  18. dmmiller, thanks so much for the cheesecake. It was delicious. I saved it for today to share with the whole family. Eve, thanks for the ornament. It looks so pretty hanging on my tree in the kitchen/dining room. :)
  19. Okay, Now that you know who your SS is, I can comment. It was killing me not to say anything sooner. I am so glad you like everything. As far as the use for the box, that is a good idea. Very discreet and it can be tied shut
  20. Yes, thank you so much. I have saved so much money this year and was able to get things for people I don't normally get for. I even had extras to donate to those in need because of Gottadeal. What a blessing!
  21. Our ham is 33 lbs and the turkey is 22lbs. I am going to have 25 people at my house tomorrow and they are all big eaters, okay I am too.
  22. I have never seen a yellow tree but last year I saw a brown one. It looked like it was dead. I said why in the world would someone buy that. It was a place that elaborately decorates trees. When I went upstairs where all of the decorated trees were they had one all done up and it was actually pretty. Not that I would ever have one in my house though.
