By the way,,,, for any of you living in Jacksonville or Orange Park, FL, I am having to recover some of my $$$$$ from my Target shopping addiction and will be selling ALOT of Target stuff tomorrow .... most will be 50% - 80% off of the orig price.... PM me for more info if you wanna stop by!

  2. They had such good deals on electronics yesterday... too bad i had no money. I ended up getting only two cordless 2.4 mhz cordless phones for $3.48 each (was $12.99). They had some nice phone sets... a 3 receiver 5.8 mhz with answerer for $39.99, one with two receivers for $29.99; They had several 14 inch lcd tvs with dvds for like $89; they had a 20 inch magnavox tv with Vcr for i think $4x.xx something. an out of the box TIVO for $84; many small electronics and gizmos. A couple of nice 35 mm cameras. they had those nice copper colored outdoor weather center clocks for $17.48 (was $69.99)--they are like 3 foot in diameter.

saw a whole bunch more stuff, but did not record it due to time ...

  3. OK, this thread is way too long to read it all, so I will ask. What is with the MM juice boxes? Is the price wrong in the system and NOBODY across the country in ANY Target has noticed it in all these months? Don't they have someone from corporate moniter these types of sites and see this kind of thing? Hard to believe no one has ever noticed this and corrected it....

Supposedly they were marked for INDIVIDUAL sale in the Target food court restaurants, i.e. $.69 a box. But they are scanning at $.69 for the whole pack of 10 boxes. They supposedly are not supposed to be being put out on the juice shelves at all. Don't know whether that is true, not true, correct, or not correct----just repeating what i read here before.

  4. Quick question. I'm new here and wondering about the mm juice boxes. What are they, how much are they and is there a coupon in the generator? Also, I see a lot of people talking about the clearance aisle. Is this something that every store has? I'm trying to remember but I can't seem to recall if mine has one... Maybe I'm missing out on a lot of good deals. Thanks for any information!

Pretty much every target has clearance "endcaps" at the end of one of the aisles in each department. Most clearance stuff will be there. Some stores also will put clearances from all different depts on a single aisle,,,,it varies where it is located. And also, sometimes you can find clearance items on the shelves with the 'non-clearance' items. But most things are on the back end caps around the perimeter of the store (hence, "Perimeter Perusers").

One thing I learned to look for is things "out of place" ... If an item, say an electronic dart board, is placed on a sporting goods or toy shelves and it is by itself and with no matching shelf tags, then scan it. Sometimes it was just put in the wrong place. But often, it is on clearance and really has no place. Most of these items do not have red clearance stickers.

Also, if you find an item you are interested in on the clearance aisle and it is marked just 15%-30% on the red tag, always scan it before overlooking it. Many times additional markdowns have been made but the sticker was just not changed.

The juices are random 10 pack Minute Maid juice boxes... you will find them on the shelf with all the other juices. They are not marked sale or clearance, but they ring up $.69. Someone once said they are actually not supposed to be sold as a pack, but that they are supposed to be sold individually in the Target food courts for .69 a BOX. But every once in a while you may find them on a shelf for re-sale as a whole pack of 10 boxes. I think with most folks it is just like a game to try to find these. BTW, the 10 pack orange juice is not included...it is usually fruit punch or apple juice that you can find.

As far as the coupon generator, I can't answer that since I have not used it.

  5. All ours at 3 different stores appear to have been gone through already. :( Most had the plastic wrapping torn already. No gift cards. Bummer.

oh now, that is just scuzzy!!!!! Opening the package, STEALING the gift cards, and leaving the bulbs there. Some people are just NASTY!!!! It is one thing to 'peek' without opening , but entirely another to open a package and steal the contents!

  6. Didnt see any outdoor motion detectors at all.. even asked a sales associate.. she said "go to lowes." LOL

I don't think the motion detectors are the security alarm things that you may be thinking of. If the OP is talking about the things I got, it is a "motion activated" light... regularly $14.99, down to $3.xx. It is like one of those closet bubbly type lights that comes on when it detects motion. I may be wrong, but I don't think the one I have is even for outdoor use.

  7. That's so weird!!! I haven't seen it anywhere so I totally thought it was either a return or something they just found in the back and threw up on a clearance shelf. I'm so excited about it! I haven't taken it out of the box yet, but it looks really nice!

Me either! I too thought it was a return... but why someone would return such a nice set was beyond me. But I hit two other Targets today and did not find them at either of the other two....

  9. okay,,, i just ordered like $500 worth of stuff,,,,thanks original poster...... but i just have to SCREAM!!!! I HATE THEIR WEBSITE! I am soooo sick of things being snatched out of my cart with no warning... so sick of page flipping (why is ther no 'view all'?????).... so tired of clicking on five billion items only to get the "so sorry, we ain't got no more" page...... and totally OVER the inevitible next day call, of "even though you ordered the item such-and-such, we don't have it and are cancelling that part of your order..... UGH!!! You'd think a company that big and popular could have a better website!
