Just reading your traditions are making me exited about Christmas. I usually wrap presents as we buy them but I now have a son who will be turning 1 on Dec 26 and I have thus far just been hiding gifts in my closet. I like the idea of having a different paper for each child and for each place you go. I will definitely be borrowing your ideas. Thanks:)

I am not sure what types of programs people are putting on their laptops but mine is great. I use it for all my daily transactions and have never had a problem. I have also installed microsoft office w/frontpage, indesign, and pagemaker and am planning to install photoshop and I have had no problems with memory. Why do people need so much memory? If you are trying to store a lot of music or movies, they may do the trick, but my husband has an external hard drive for those things.

I just wanted to remind you that even though some of this stuff is online for BF, don't you still have to pay shipping? I had thought about doing that for a tv, but the shipping on it was 20.00.

I forgot to tell you that when I put my tree up before Halloween it was an artificial tree. I dont think I could have kept one alive that long.

I am heartbroken. I don't have cable so I can't see any of them. I remember when all the good ones from the 80's came on wdbj7(noncable channel) and now you can rarely see them anywhere. I have since purchased Garfield and Charlie Brown.

Etoys.com gets a lot of stuff from BL, so don't think they only sell crap. I bought a toy for my son on etoys, paid an extra 30.00 for shipping and went to BL the next day and saw it for same price of etoys minus shipping

I personally like Merry Christmas but having employees say Happy Holidays makes sense because they can say that until after New Years and before Thanksgiving to cover all the Holidays, heck why not say it year round and be covered.

I have noticed that one tactic stores use to deter some of this is offering bonus items with regular items so they can identify specials easier. For instance WM is currently offering three extra friends with their fisher price farm. I would totally hide items but I am afraid they might think I am shoplifting, acting all suspicious and stuff.
