  1. I have one child who will turn 1 on dec 26 so he will get lots of presents. We are planning to seperate xmas and bd but still lots of presents for xmas. So far we have purchased at least 15 and still lots more shopping to do. I feel guilty but then again I don't.
  2. I have to cook most everything every year. I tote it all to my mother house which is 1hr away and she is only 50 and healthy. But she can't cook very well. I also have two sisters, 33 and 27 who barely help at all, all very capable of pitching in. But the burdon always falls on me (30yo). But at least this way I know it is edible.:)
  3. can someone help me understand why you want to use colors on a christmas tree that makes it look like easter or the fourth of july, i dont get the point of that. If it's christmas shouldn't it be xmas colors, you know red and green or an assortment of colors, not pastel ones either. not trying to offend, just trying to understand
  4. You are correct about that, but what I was saying is I returned something that wasnt working and I needed another one just like it. It was a video baby monitor, and I merely wanted to replace it without paying, and I was able to do that this way. Target didn't lose any money because they sent it back to the manufacturer as defective.
  5. If I were you and I had time, I would wrap everything. That makes it more fun to open. It doesn't matter if some of the items are only 1$, it is still fun. If you dont have time or are trying to save materials, then I woud at least use tissue paper or something, maybe even sales papers if they are BF fans too!!!!!!!!!
  6. My sons bday is Dec 26 and he will be 1. I am not combining xmas and his birthday as it would take away from the specialness of both. I say suck it up and celebrate both seperately, after all, you would do it two times a year if it was say in the summer as opposed to near christmas, save up or something.
  7. Sorry, it was am, if it had been pm I would have probably gone into labor from all that car waiting:)
  8. sorry I havent been totally following the discussion here but I wanted to give a little advice about target returns. I recently had an item I needed to return, still had the box and the receipt but the receipt was over 90 days. Sooo, I just put the item back in the box, and returned it without a receipt and they allowed me to exchange it for exact same. They didnt want to do it because the item was over 100$, but it was right at closing time and they did anyway. This will only work if you paid with cash.
  9. I bought the 398 laptop from WM and did not get a warrrenty or that other thing you were talking about. What do you do to cover it under your homeowners/renters insurance?
  10. Hi, last year I was 8 monts pregnant and we got there at 5:30. I sat in the car while I sent my husband in for the battle. I read sales papers for other stores and demised the game plan for which store was next.
  11. I just wanted to let anyone who cares know that I have the $398 laptop from WM and it is absolutely worth the $$. Have questions about it, just ask.:)
  12. I am new here too. It seems as though most of us are moms :) what a nice thing to have in common. I wonder how many of us are looking for that great toy deal. Great to be here.
