I wish I could think of who could use new pots and pans because I would love to order these for them.

I hope so too but from what I've seen, once they are ordered they are shipped out.

It's the strangest thing because this set has been showing in my shopping bag all day and I've been trying to order it. I thought for grins I'll try again. And it went through! Too funny.

At the Target near my house (the only store where I had seen the DVD players on clearance), the dvd players were 30% off around a month ago. Two weeks ago, they went to 50% off. Yesterday they went 75%. There was also a 10 inch DVD player but those went very quickly. Honestly, I'm surprised that I found even one of these at 75% off. I was happy finding it at 50% off. I just lucked out.

It was a Memorex 8.5 inch swivel portable dvd player. The DPCI is 057150008.

I was VERY excited to find them for this price. I had bought one for half price last week because even at $80, it was a good price. I was estatic when I found it for 75% off.

I went to Target at lunch specifically to see if they had marked down the portable DVD players to 75%. There were 2 left that ended up being $40.04 (orig. $159.99) each. I bought both of them. Then I returned the one I had purchased at half off last week. I also found the large area rug to match the smaller rugs I bought on Saturday (all at 75% off). The large one (5' x 8') was originally $79.99. I got it for $19.98. Between that rug, the three smaller rugs and a medium sized rug, I was able to purchase them all for less than $50.00. woohoo My last find was another 'Make Your Own Bolster' pillow. I had bought one the other day and really wanted a second one. I saw 3 of them in a cart of what I thought was abandoned items in the domestics section so I took one out of there. About that time, a sales lady came around the corner and boy I got a dirty look from her. She must've been saving them for herself. She didn't say a word but if looks could kill.... All in all it wasn't a bad trip and definitely not a lunchtime wasted.

When my daughter was still drinking formula, I found that it wasn't worth waiting for additional markdowns on formula as there was not usually any left.

I have always used this term. It's nice to see others out there that refer to it the same way. :)

Help!! Does anyone have an extra "Kayla" doll (she's the brunette) from the Valentine Kelly Dolls?? My dog decided she was a good chew toy and I can't find another one. TIA

If it were me, I would put them up with a staple gun. This is normally how I put up lights during the holidays, etc. I have some to put up on my patio and will do the same thing. HTH

I found the portable DVD player the other night for half price. It ended up being $79.98. I haven't used it yet but it was a good deal. It was an 8.5" swivel screen. HTH

I found some things that I didn't even know I needed until I saw them at 75% off. I found some area rugs (75% off), a make your own bolster pillow and the cases (all 75% off), a pillow for the chair in my den (50% off), bought the Disney Princesses birthday stuff (30% off) for my Goddaughter's party. There had to have been more because I walked out of there with a whole shopping cart of items! GB is completely dead at the stores I've been to.

I'm sorry, Ken. I didn't mean to be a sexist. I guess when I think of people shopping, I think of only we women. lol

If it's something you REALLY want, I would recommend you not wait. From my experiences, I've missed out on things by waiting for a better deal while at 30% off, it was still a good price. Like Hairstylin suggested, save your receipt and if you find it in stock at a more discounted price, then just repurchase it and return it with the higher receipt.

I'm not sure but maybe because they kept showing out of stock. They keep going in and out of stock as well.

After making trips to 3 different Targets, all I found in the GB were some baskets that looked like pots. These will look awesome in my kitchen and living room. I figured there wouldn't be much left given it was at 75% off but man I never thought it would be as picked over as it was! It looked like the thrashers came through. I did find a VDay kitty treats box and the cashier and I played name your price. I got it for $1.00. I probably overpaid compared to the 90% off but I'm not complaining paying $1.00 for 5 bags of kitty treats. The kitties won't be complaining either! :)
