I'm off to get my price adjustments, too. I've been in Target picking up the GPS, DVD player, and several DVDs. Excited and nervous too. But I did price matching for the first time at Walmart today, and it went better than expected!

Not too exciting... looking more and more like Walmart will be my first stop!

I'm not sure why any local Target manager would say that they aren't honoring price adjustments when, right there in the WSJ article, it says that the price adjustment policy remains in effect for Black Friday? The only items that cannot be adjusted are those considered clearance. You can email Target at corporate and have them respond to a personal inquiry for their price adjustment policy. No, I'm pretty sure that's a national price. It was in my weekly Target ad. Are you sure the Pixo sets are the same at WM as offered at Target??

Yes, TRU was a nightmare here in Wyomissing, PA. Not a parking spot to be found in the entire strip mall parking lot (which is huge). Line wrapped around the side of the building so far you couldn't see the end. When 5am came and the doors opened, people arriving right at 5am didn't realize what the line was for and just started walking towards the door. The police showed up just in time! Once inside, I didn't see any fights or people grabbing items from each other, but carts were hard to find.

Walmart - maybe 5 minutes Toys R Us - 40 minutes (I timed this one) Staples - 20-25 min. Old Navy - 10 minutes Target - 2 1/2 hours Bon Ton - 10 minutes

I bought over $200 worth of toys yesterday morning at TRU. I had several of those $5 off of $25 coupons. The one worker said we could stack them, using one for every $25 spent. But at the register, we were not allowed. So I started handing them out to everyone, saying "take one down and pass it around." Lots of smiles from other shoppers yesterday am. And TRU is STILL out the same amount of $$ had they just let me use them.

I'm not seeing where you did anything wrong. They get to set all the rules, we don't have a say at all. So if you found a loophole, good for you!!

It went as well as can be expected. I dressed well for the weather. My shopping buddy was awesome... she manned the cart while I ran around getting the items. Found most of what I wanted, not all, but got plenty of stuff to put under the tree. I should have worn more comfortable shoes though. Those darn Cobbie Cuddlers from Kmart just don't do the trick anymore.

I got the last Sandisk Compact Flast 1GB at Staples. Whew! That was my third stop behind Walmart and Toys R Us. Some guy cut in line and the guy behind the counter handed him one, I said "That's what I'm waiting for." The worker said "you may hate him because he just got the last one..." but then he found one for me. Good thing!!

No, just the "could not find" category this am. And I didn't go near the electronics. That was ca-razy.
