  6. Just ran over Kohls. Great that the promos did not require their card. Also nice to see ebates giving 10%. HoMedics Comfort Touch Shiatsu Massage Women's SONOMA Goods for Life™ Knit Boot SlippersDearfoams Men's Microsuede Berber Fleece Clog Slippers In all cases, I was shopping for product not price, but was happy to reel in the discounts.
  7. Went to Staples.com . Added the Keurig (Item #853653) to my cart. Added Green Mountain Coffee Nantucket Blend Keurig KCup pods 72 ct (Item #2488663) to my cart. Redeemed 30% off any one regular-priced cleaning and break room item coupon online. Used Visa Checkout. The brewer is on sale for $79.99. The coupon reduces the VERY GOOD k-cups to $24.49 bringing total to $104.48 which enables $25 off 100 Visa Checkout bringing cost down to $79.48. Minus the $15 easy rebate nets to $64.48. If you figure the k-cups as being $0.30 each, that comes to $21.60 which makes the coffee maker a bargain at $41.88. Used Staples Gift Cards from Discover to pay to knock off another $15 and for a $25.88 commercial quality single serve coffee brewer shipped to my home for free. 10. I'll be sitting RIGHT HERE waiting for your review
  11. And you have not tried it yet? Sneak off to a bedroom, take this thing for a ride, and come tell us all about it.
  12. Alco Electronics makes RCA branded computer products these days. It is a Hong Kong company. Haven't had a bad experience with the products. Apple, btw, is made by a chinese company.
  13. PM me a link to your http://tvfool.comreport and I'll help you find one!
  14. We have three TiVos (soon to be four) plus two Minis and three DVR+s. Personally, I prefer the DVR+, but my wife prefers the TiVo. Both awesome. Even if you are not interested in recording, it's nice to have a program guide and to be able to rewind when you snooze off or pause when the phone rings. The Roamio/OTA has a lot of streaming apps as well. Santa ought to drop one of those refurbs down your chimney.
  15. I don't think you will see this price again...not often anyway. I was pretty excited to get new ones for $299. This is better, IMHO.
  16. The Roamio/OTA linked has no fees. Neither DVR has monthly fees. Both require an antenna as source for programming. Otherwise, TiVo fees vary by promotion and device. All in for the Bolt is pricey, IMHO.
  17. I don't see any discussion of DVRs, so I thought I would post this for those who might be looking for an OTA DVR. Right now, the two main choices for an OTA DVR are the Channel Master DVR+ and the TiVo Roamio/OTA. The Channel Master 1t DVR+ is on sale for $249.99. It has no monthly service fees. TiVo is selling refurbished 500g Roamio/OTAs with Lifetime and a factory warranty for $199.99. Both are great DVRs and good deals, but the TiVo price is insane. http://www.channelmaster.com/Special_Offers_s/364.htmhttps://www.tivo.com/thanksgiving2016#/thanksgiving2016 I have both (and love) and would be happy to answer questions. Happy shopping!
  18. Happy November Tracy!
  19. Looks like I am going to buy a truck on BF ;-)
  20. Call the geek squad and ask how much to upgrade memory to 8g/12g/16g and figure that into your cost. In the QnA, someone said memory could not be upgraded. I really do not think 4g is enough. That said, Windows 10 requires 1g for 32 bit and 2g for 64 bit.
  21. A couple years ago, I tried out a View Master which used an iPhone in headgear to view slides. Pretty interesting, but not much use. Then there were some high end 3D/VR headsets which were too expensive for me. Now, I am seeing dozens of inexpensive sets. Are these on anyone's list? Anyone already playing with one? One reviewer said the iPhone SE is too small for these. Anyone disagree? 22. Good for REI employees. Who shops REI on BF anyway. As always, I prefer to leave open/close decisions to the individual merchants and their employees. REI should too. Nice web page, though, huh?
  23. $60 over the i3, but $30 over your budget. I have been looking at CPUs a lot lately. I have a couple desktops to upgrade and want a 17" laptop for myself. Most of the 17" laptops are i3s. At this point in time, I am not sure CPU is the top differentiator, but I feel it when I sit at a computer. I was going to recommend the walmart acer... http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/black-friday-4049-Acer156Corei5Laptopw6GB1TBOnlineOnly.html but I was concerned the 2g less memory would be a bigger hit on performance than the i3. Most of the laptops only specify the size of the disk. I'd like to know the manufacturer and speed. 7200rpm is going to make a big difference. WD/Toshiba are more reliable than Seagate/Samsung, Have fun!
  24. Office Depot? I'd find the $30 to get the i5 with the bigger disk on the same page which will be about 20% faster, but the i3 is no slouch... http://officedepot.shoplocal.com/officedepotsd/weeklyad?promotioncode=OfficeDepot-161124BF&cm_sp=marketing-_-dynamicad-sneak_peek-_-Home-TriplePromoZone1-Ad2-Home&storeid=2670614#!/promotion?storeid=2670614&languageid=1&promotioncode=OfficeDepot-161124BF&pagenumber=1&mode=bbpsingle http://www.cpu-monkey.com/en/compare_cpu-intel_core_i5_7200u-653-vs-intel_core_i3_7100u-654
