At Walmart- I check out on the grocery side (the lines seem shorter). At Target- I check out in the middle lanes. Shopko- The pharmacy / Optical / and service desk are open for checking out. Kmart- I usually go on Thanksgiving am for their sale and ask the manager if I can price match other ads while I'm there. He's always allowed it so far which saves time on BF. Sometimes taking a farther parking spot is easier than driving around looking for something close to the doors. And there's usually less people walking/running toward the rear of the parking lots. I don't drink much so I don't have to leave the line. Write your list in order of the stores you want to go to. Wear comfortable shoes. Brush your teeth. Waiting in line and talking to people around you can tell who just got out of bed and those who took a few minutes in the bathroom. :) Wear a santa hat then you don't have to brush your hair. :) LOL

I found a couple websites that sell them but only to schools and libraries. I'll keep looking or talk to the regular librarian and maybe she can order some for me.

I'm looking for something that looks like a very large ziploc type plastic bag that has kind of a hanger built into the top so it can hang on a rod. It snaps shut on top and the hanger part is white. I hope that makes sense. I'd really like to find some of these to seperate some of the toys my kids got for Christmas so I can keep all the pieces with the right toy. I've seen these at the library but the lady working today doesn't know where they are from. Thanks

My DH has been playing Madden for the last few days (and late nights) and really seems to like it a lot.

Not exactly the same but similar. One year at DH work they had a party for everyone with Santa. The kids made different decorations and I hung them up that year. I packed everything up after Christmas and put it all in the basement. Next year comes around and I start unpacking everything and start finding a lot of mold on some decorations. I couldn't figure out why until I got to the bottom of the container and found a decoration my son had made the year before at that party that had marshmallows on it. I didn't even pay attention to it when I packed it and from that I had to throw away an entire container of Xmas stuff.

I wonder if this deal would work for us. We have DishNetwork but it's billed on our phone bill. We have a bundle type deal with the phone company for phone (free long distance), internet and DishNetwork all on one bill. Anyone know if the deal would work for us?

You could buy a current copy of the magazine and wrap that along with the card to show he's getting it as a subscription.

I went to Amazon one day and there was a ad for a free trial at the top of the screen to sign up. I didn't do it for a couple weeks (wanted to be closer to Christmas since i remember these deals from last year). I just kept hoping the free trial offer wouldn't go away. It never did so I was able to sign up. DH also has an account with Amazon but it took longer for them to offer him a free trial. I believe his offer is still there but I do all the ordering so it doesn't really matter. Maybe if you call and ask they'll let you try for free.

I'm thinking of canceling my free trial of Prime just so I have to be done shopping. :) I have placed 3 orders and am now done with Christmas for this year and birthday's for next year. It's so hard to not buy when things are 70% off. :) DH knows about most of the orders. HaHa. I'll have to tell him I placed more today when he comes home from work.
