Don't know about it being on sale, but I can say it's a cute toy. My DD got it last X-mas.

Hey Brad/Ross...maybe you guys could find somewhere else to put a countdown since it got replaced with the CNN and Uncle Sam thing?
-
I agree...it's getting so close and all!! Especially since the CNN thing is in place of the countdown now.

Yet another ditto on that!! I love this site. It has become my "2nd home".

Oh my gosh, that is so funny!!

How/why and when did you, yourself, stop believing in Santa Clause? Was there a specific reason? Here's my story... I actually figured it out with the Easter Bunny and just realized that since the Easter Bunny wasn't real then none of the others were too. I was in 3rd grade. It was the night before Easter and we had been out late. We got home around 11:30 or so. Well my parents told me that I needed to go to bed so the Easter Bunny could come. Well, I hadn't been in the bed more than 10 minutes and I heard the front door open. And only once, guess they forgot he needed to leave too, not just come in. And I also heard the cookie jar open (I left cookies out for the Easter Bunny too). Well, like right after that they came and got me out of bed and told me he had came already. Yeah right, he comes 10 min. after I got home. And I knew they had opened the cookie jar to put the cookies back in. Well, I walked into the living room looked at the easter basket, looked at them with a disgusted look on my face, and went straight back to my bedroom. They came running in there after me and said "what's wrong"? I said "I'm not stupid, there is no Easter Bunny". They were like "what are you talking about, sure there is". Well, then I started calling them on the door opening and the cookie jar. And they told me that they opened the jar b/c he wanted more!! Yeah right, how stupid did I look? And that was the end of my believing.

Where's the option for "mean to send them out, but never do"?

White on the outside of the house and colored on the tree!! As long as there are small children in our house we will have colored lights on the tree. After children are gone and it's just me and hubby we will have white, but not until then.
-
I usually use both (paper and bags). It just depends on the gift. Of course presents for people in the house don't get wrapped in bags. I usually go to Wal-Mart and pick up whatever catches my eye that year. And of course there is always a couple rolls specially for my DD (in cute themes).
-
I WILL NOT use the self checkouts!! Personally, I don't go to Wal-Mart (or wherever) to work!! Plus, I think they're job killers!! Just another step towards us becoming machine dependent and not needing people.
-
I'm with everyone else, if you want to avoid the rush stay home!! lol In my experience in most stores once the doors open it's a free for all!!!
-
I would go for the Circuit City. We always end up buying lts of electronics and media!! Let us know which one you pick!

What's the longest amount of time you've ever spent shopping on BF?
SuperMommy replied to MarkRaby's topic in 2005
I usually leave my house around 4 or 4:30 am and don't get back until like 6:30 So actual time out is over 12 but actual time shopping is usually 5am to like 5 or 6 pm. -
Just remind him that he should take advantage of the time he has with his family. I would keep the countdown to myself. But just try to get him excited about the other holiday activites. Tell him he will have a whole year to be a grinch.

That sounds like a good idea to me. Just get a small one and Wal Mart has small ornaments to put on them. That way you will have a "Christmas Tree" but it won't be too in the way.

Hardest person to shop for? Easiest person to shop for?
SuperMommy replied to alimfp's topic in 2005
My mother and my DD (3) are the easiest to buy for. The hardes is my step mother, she's never happy with anything you get her. -
Thanks!! Great deals on a few things. Don't know if there is a Best Buy around here but I'll check!! :)

What do you do while standing in line at the store?
SuperMommy replied to sigrist_2000's topic in 2005
Usually just talk to the other women I'm with. -
Well, that list is very short compared to what KMart usually runs on BF, so maybe it's just a partial list.

Need suggestions on what to get a 6month old girl
SuperMommy replied to BrandyJervas's topic in 2005
The Baby Einstein videos/DVDs are great!! They are very educational and are loved by children. They are reccomended for children ages 0-3 years. -
Woo Hoo!! That's great!! Hope they have more of the great deals they had 2 years ago!! And BTW, I got a $20 DVD player 2 years ago and it was still working just fine (until I lost the remote a couple of months ago).
-
Shoot, I'm usually too tired after BF shopping. I usually just go home and rest for the rest of the evening.
-
I'm not positive they'll do it again, but I know they ran that deal last year for the entire BF weekend.

Female. Unless Males can finally get pregnant!!

I'm seeing Nov. 8th with both.
