The Dell outlet still has laptops with XP, or you might try contacting any local computer shop. They can build or refurb a basic machine to your specifications.

We've always gone to the Deb shop in the mall. Their clearance deals can get really good...DD got her homecoming dress there this year for $7 They'll probably have a ton of dressy stuff on clearance soon since the holidays are over and Prom season doesn't start for a bit.

Our town is big into the Toys for Tots/Christmas for Kids things, but when I hear of the parents of those kids working the system to get $400-500 worth of toys for EACH kid, I get disgusted. One family I'm distantly aquainted with maps out all the freebie charities like we do BF. I'd much rather do something like this for someone I know is in need.

The big sale is in their HQ city of Fort Wayne, Indiana every spring. The Atlanta and Charlotte dates are new, they are trying out different cities to see how it goes elsewhere.
