My SS apparently arrived last week & I didn't know it. I had received a anonymous box from Amazon on my birthday last week & I had no idea it was actually from my SS! I got a Jeff Dunham DVD & the new Alice Cooper CD ! That box has been a huge mystery around here so it made it doubly fun for me :)

So they're coming uninvited? They're the rude ones if that's the case. If its in your budget, put them up in a hotel. If its not send them a list of nearby hotels & tell them you have other company coming that morning but you.'d be happy to see them later in the day.

Our mall manager told us he was really disappointed that we didn't open @ midnight (we had the option but not enough employees to cover being open that many hours so we didn't open until 6 am). He said the stores that did open @ midnight had great sales figures. I really think next year the mall will be open on Thanksgiving. I'm surprised it's taken this long since they are pretty much the only stores closed on the holidays still.

Yes, you CAN return to a Sears store. Just take in the packing slip. Whoever told you that was absolutely wrong. They actually contacted me after I kvetched on Twitter about the horrible CS. If you have it, send a tweet to @searscares & see if they get back to you, otherwise I'd just keep calling & arguing.

I thought of the Keurig bit BIL said she wouldn't like it. I absolutely will NOT give gift cards. I looked into the ______ if the month things but couldn't find Any under $400 Im going to call her newspaper in the AM to see how much 6 mos. or a year of that is.

She's 80 years old & a widow so she doesn't like to dine out alone and there's not enough gold in Fort Knox to make me spend a minute more time with her than I have to. I like the robe/slippers idea & DH was thinking maybe a Keurig type machine but so far the best price I've found is $80 on the Mini & that's out of my price range.

She doesn't read or have a computer so anything digital wouldn't be welcomed by her. The only spa would be in the "big city" (she lives on a farm 20 mile from the nearest small town) so she wouldn't use it.

I have absolutely no idea what to get MIL. The woman has no friends that I know of, no hobbies. I don't want to get her the usual lotions, gift cards or anything like that since that's what everyone else gets her. My budget is $50-75.

Since my box was open when I got it, I looked inside & the was only Adventures & the Eden d/l card, NOT the other TWO I was supposed to get. 2 games vs. the 3 game bundle was bad enough but that only 1 of the 3 was what they advertised was unacceptable. According to all the Sears CSRs I spoke to, they sell the Gunslinger & Fruit Ninja games separately so that's why they sent as GC to cover the cost to purchase the games.

None @ my Kroger. All they have is Princess Barbie.

My SS box went out today :-)

Sears is sending me a GC to cover the costs of the missing games & to compensate the bad CS. I love the power of Twitter.

The problem is the picture is wrong. We got the model LPF-00062 which is the 2 game pack The holiday bundle is 84K-00024.

So after talking to Sears CS & 2 people at corporate the answer I got was basically too bad, you got what you ordered. If you don't want it, return it.

Yeah, mine was that way too. AND it was already opened! I am NOT happy. I only ordered it for Fruit Ninja.
