  2. I found this company that makes great soaps with hilarious labels so I think I’m getting them for all the hard to buy for people on my lists. They have a few on Amazon and tons more on their own website. 5. I can’t believe it’s already November! My shopping is coming along well although I’m stumped for ideas for a few people.

  7. Eggless chocolate peanut butter cookies Ingredients 2 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup butter, softened 1 cup sugar 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 cup cocoa powder 1/3 cup peanut butter 1/2 cup milk Directions Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. Cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl. Mix in vanilla extract and cocoa powder, then add peanut butter, and stir until smooth. Gradually mix in the sifted ingredients until well blended. Pour milk into dough, and stir until fully combined. Drop dough by heaping teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake in the preheated oven until edges are lightly browned, 11 to 13 minutes. For a crunchier cookie, bake an additional minute or two.
  8. When the kids were little, I stashed it all in our camper. I would even wrap out there. The big stuff our neighbor would hide in his garage for us. Now that the kids are grown, it’s all kept in a big box in my bedroom closet.
  9. Happy Halloween [emoji316] everyone!
  10. The $3.99 pre school board games! Do they get that cheap anymore? I haven’t had to buy little kid toys in 18 years.
  11. I wish I was more on top of wrapping as I shop but I’m the person wrapping Christmas Eve. I did finally get in the habit of putting all the gifts in one spot (a large box in my bedroom) so at least I’m not searching for them too [emoji23]
  12. Macy’s usually runs a good deal on BF. I’ve gotten my last 2 from there.
  13. Tomorrow is the 6-week mark. We need an ad soon!
  14. 1. Adults have a weird idea of fun. 2. The Walmart chaos management training was a huge fail this year. 3. Excuse me, does anyone know what time it is?
  15. Bags arrived today. Thanks Brad!
  16. I’m in NW Ohio, We got to 88° yesterday and 89° today, both records for high temperatures. Friday, it’s supposed to be 56°. I love fall.
  17. I took my kids BF shopping when they got to around 13. My sons were getting bored so I told them about people hiding stuff around the store in the days before BF to retrieve when the prices went down. They had to go on a treasure hunt then...they came back about 10 minutes later with a coveted PS4 they found hiding beneath the women’s jeans [emoji23]
  18. Happy October! Just a few weeks until the 1st ads will be out! [emoji322]
  19. This has been a fun thread. Hope it continues for 2020.
  20. I’m trying to keep it around $1200 this year. The kids are all grown so it’s getting harder to buy for them and I hate giving cash/gcs. That just no fun for a serial bargain hunter.
  21. I am hoping to find a deal on Cricut accessories. 50% off vinyl would be awesome.
  22. I’m already planning on canceling my Prime when it’s up in February. I live in a rural area and my ordering window for 2-day is Monday-3 PM Wednesday. Any time after that doesn’t come until the following Tuesday. In addition, I can’t remember the last time a pre order arrived on the release date. It’s totally not worth the money when they can’t fulfill their end of the contract.
  23. It’s the most wonderful time of the year....! Aside from a few DVDs, I’ll probably be skipping BF. Money is tight and Kids are all grown up so it’s a crafty year instead of a retail one.
  24. Ah, Labor Day....the planning for Christmas begins now [emoji1]
