How very true!!! was that PC I know our school district stopped saying "Christmas" and "Easter" Break.. they now say: "Winter" & "Spring" break.. it has been about 7 years now...

I guess we should not celebrate Thanksgiving either since that really isn't politically correct either if you think about it. The first Thanksgiving was about the Pilgrims and Indians. Using the term "Indians" is no longer PC either... Nursery Schools can no longer sing "The Ten Little Indians" due to that... I guess that entire darn weekend is politically incorrect then... what has happened to America

I wish they had the extended return policy for everything. I ordered the $349 laptops yesterday and I will have to remember to open each of them to make sure they are in working condition and nothing is wrong with them. I will have to reseal the box then put them away for Christmas. I may just give my older daughter her laptop sooner, I know she can really use it like ... yesterday.. The one she is using is 3 years old, and doesn't have enough hard drive & memory now...and I am not about to upgrade it. It was the Walmart special years ago just before BF...

I don't mean any harm by saying "lowlifes" but when someone is doing that (and it is illegal in some states), that is how I describe them. They are pretty low to do something like that just to make a fast (and illegal) buck in life.. again, I was not aiming it at anyone here, but they are my feelings. My opinion may not be perfect, but I go by the law both ethically and morally. I see you are from FL as I am. I know when Obama came to our area, there were people who tried to "sell" the free tkts from that event, they were arrested. Even some who were caught selling them on Craigs list.. not just outside the event. So it may very well be law here in FL not to sell something such as the tkts given out on BF.. they were/are no different than those of Obama's....:yup:

An example.. wonder if they will they have one TV line, one camera line meaning that if there are several TV's on sale and several camera's, anyone wanting either of the TV's or camera's will be on the same line.. get what I am saying. That is what happened last year. All camera's were in the same line, and you had to wait on this super long line for which ever camera you wanted. Even if it were just to "look" at it. The line was to view, purchase and pay.. all one line.. it was horrible. I have a feeling that this is what the "new" way is going to be and there were only 2 registers to boot for the camera line

yeah, if I was home to do it.. but it is me & my sister. We meet in Orlando Fl. I live in SW Fl and she lives in NE Fl.. we have taken our kids, but it is hard for them to do it.. last year they were 16 & 12.. Beside, how do you give them the credit card to charge with I do not carry cash that day.. I charge everything in the event I were to misplace my wallet.. I can just call and cancel my cards Too hectic for me to carry cash then.

No competition... Walmart is a major one! Maybe not for washers/dryers.. but for TVs, Computers, Game Systems, Camera'a etc.. they sure are.. There is also Target in the running too for some of their items.. Yes, there is competition.. maybe not where you live.. but here they do...

There is one sure way to stop this from happening... that is to stop purchasing tkts from these lowlifes It is simple supply and demand. If they are there getting the money from someone, they will continue to do it. If they no longer can get money from people, then they will stop. Sounds like an easy plan, but problem is, you always have someone with extra money to blow and they don't care. They would rather spend the money than wait on the line. For those people I say.. do not do Black Friday.. you are paying the same in the long run... do the math...

I just called the Wamart that I plan on going to (if I go) and the gentleman that I spoke with said he wasn't sure what their plan was for BF. He said that he "thinks" all electronics will have to be paid for back there as usual, but not sure if like last year, individually. He said he hopes not so even workers there weren't happy last year... If they are that way, I will walk right out! I do not care how good their deals are. What good are good deals when you can only get "one" deal since by the time you get off that line, the other deals are gone

I just hope that they do not require you to pay for each big advertised item as the Walmart I went to did last year! There were orginzied lines all around the store, however, you had to pay at each line for your item. That really held up lines when someones cc or check didn't go thru, or someone standing there counting their money. It held you up from going to another line to get another item. I ended up on line for over 45 minutes just to pick up & pay for a GPS system My sister was on the camera line, that was the worst! There were those that wanted to "view" the camera, there were those that were purchasing the camera.. and you had to wait.. for each person. That line was at least 3 hours long! I left her and went to another store totally, came back & she was still on the darn camera line! She got her camera & by then, everything good was gone. We swore that we would not do Walmart again if they were to have that same operation set up. We went to the one in Lake Buena Vista (Orlando) Fl. Then when came home, I asked my Walmart if they did it that way & she said no, they had pallets of all the items, with a line. The were workers handing them the items and off they went.. to another line for other items & were able to pay for everything at once. I hadn't planned on doing Walmart this year, but maybe I will email or call to see what their set up will be. If like last year, they can forget me. I am not into waiting to get one item and then to late for anything else!

I live in Lee County Fl, but this will be my 3rd year (I think), shopping in Orlando, FL My sister and I meet there, and start our shopping on Thanksgiving night.. online. We head out to the stores by 11pm that night to line up for the midnight shopping... We usually finish on Friday night.. non stop shopping... we live on coffee and chocolate that day...

AMD Athlon......Intel Core Processor.... Toyota or Honda... same thing. There are low, mid and upper ends to each. For $349 at Best Buy for an AMD Athlon, how can you go wrong? I had to do two different orders so I can get two since there was a one per order stipulation. I have 2 daughters, one is a Sr. in HS and the other a Jr in a University. I think these will be just fine for them. I am only sorry I didn't get one for me

I have never ordered from them but a woman I work with, her son has. From what she has said, he has not had any problems with them.

I was curious to see what the price of this was today (12/18) and it is $99. So the Gold Box deal of yesterday was really only a $10 savings. While $10 is $10. It isn't the savings that they made it out to be if you purchased it yesterday. So anyone that still wants to purchase this can do so at only $10 more than yesterday.

I got a black leather Lucky that was originally over $200 for only $50!! It had several mark downs and then the additional 30% I also got a Fossil that was $138 for $72, not as great as the Lucky deal but still a good deal for a Fossil purse.

Yep... they never (A&F too) give out coupons for anything! They know they have a product that sells without coupons so they do not bother to give any out I wish for once they would, at least to their "loyal customers"

A friend of mine told me that when her daughter was born, she actually got doll clothing for some things. She found it to be easier to find & more selection.... Her daughter was 3 months early.

It is being totally gutted & redone That is in the process of getting done right now! After 17 years of looking at the same bathtub/sink & fixtures, tile and a (hot) pink vanity counter top I deserve it The bathroom make over is the reason why our budget is tight on the dishwasher. We didn't plan on that breaking when it did.... Murphy's law.. when you don't want something to happen, it does. We figured it would get incorportated into my Chirstmas present...
