The competition between amazon and walmart last year was great!! I hope they do it again; I got most of the BF stuff from amazon at the same or lower prices. Just theres not much notice, and you have to hit a Lightning Deal withing about 4 minutes before it sells out.

Except now that I have a new shirt coming, he wants to be the one to wear that one! He likes the 'doorbuster' saying on the back. He'd like it to say something to the effect of 'SNAP I got your doorbuster!' LOL! We are trying to stake out a couple different stores so he can get the things I want at his store and I can get what he'd like at my designated store......yep its TEAM PLAY.

ds has a 22" he bought for his room and the picture is very nice, better than our 720p 32". Sound sucks though, but most all flat panels have terrible sound.

But that is not how life really is. Its unrealistic. If I have $20 to go to the store with, that means I only have $20 to spend, not make sure I come home with 12 grocery items no matter what the cost. If I have to spend $10 on a expensive item that still only gives me $10 for other things. That's the real world. Dh grew up in a large farming family where they each got one store bought toy and a few homemade and used gifts. None of the kids ever had 'hurt feelings'.

I thought I was the only one that felt like I was so pathetically poor compared to others online lol......................like everyone ekse's gets were getting such cool stuff and I am soooo tight....

I used to send 40 or more, with things being tight the past couple of years I have scaled it back to 15.

I was upfront with my teen boys this year and told them it was maximum $100 each, so to give me their lists and I would pick and choose up to that dollar amount. This is up from last year when dh was laid off during the holidays, but less than previous years when he had a well paying job. I told the boys it doesn't reflect on them, its just the way things are. Dh and i are only trading $40 gifts between each other. We cut back on the other people we usually give to, and the ones we still will buy for we have $5 each for, and its usually a gift bag/basket filled with homemade soaps, jams, coffee mixes, dried fruits and dollar store holiday mugs.

found it today at my Target, they said it was a discontinued model, but they said the price would NOT be reduced UGH! Regular price! Then I overheard a guy tell his gf that he heard on Black Friday there would be a 40" TV for a really cheap price LOL!

I started out with the basic 4.5 qt white mixer, got the epicurean in hunter green, then got the 6 qt Professional in Nickel. I also grind grains and meat, make applesauce and tomatoe sauces and do a whole lot with my machine, so the Professional has been the best for me. I actually burned out a motor on one of the others. Kitchenaid offered to replace it with their largest model free of charge. I have been pleased with it. It depends on what the primary use is going to be. If just for cakes and mixing any basic model in 4.5 or 5 qt should do.

Resubmitted the order. Keeping fingers crossed for it to show up in a few days...... someone dropped the ball on that one! I was afraid they wouldnt let me get that good of a deal.

After contacting customer service, i got the game credit applied today. whew.

OK update, they had everything zeroed out on my order (???) so now I am waiting for a call back from customer service.

I tried to find the post in online deals about the Sears Carhardt Deal where you got a carhardt coat, hat and cooler for about $42 or so shipped to store.....but could not find it! Anyway, I still didnt get anything from Sears so i checked online and they dont even have an order pending for me! So no good deal afterall on a xmas gift for dh....wah. I am going to check my credit card to make sure it wasnt charged. I was just wondering if anyone else ordered and had theirs go through? Rats I didnt print out a order summary either.

IDK Ill wait until it dies and then just buy another TV. Honestly, i don't bother repairing electronics because they are so disposable anymore. Or appliances for that matter.

My order has not shipped yet, but my confirmation says they have everything. I ordered $28 worth, so even if one or two don't ship, I should be ok.

Some of you are mentioning buying online. I have done that for Best Buy, but Target? How much of this will be available online? And when ? Thursday or midnight Friday? i wnat the TV, Hard drives, and bluRay player...

Thanks for the update...that is so cool you get 2 of them! I don't care about the insignias on them, if any. They are going to wayyyy extended relatives that I never see but still have to exchange cheap gifts with.
