I agree with peppy on the energy usage...that's why dh won't even look at a plasma. I send enough $ to the utility compnies as is.

I keep it to one page, about 10 items. I keep it there to keep track of pricing. Mostly alot of video games right now, some coffee pods, a couple of books I'm not sure if I want to buy or not for gifts, auto accessories.

I havent been excited about the holidays since my parents passed away in '94 and '97., and I don't have any other relatives that I know well near me. Dh doesnt have any near us either. So family things arent like the holiday commercials, its basically dh, me and our 2 sons. Sometimes we invite a person or two over for Thanksgiving, and last year we were caring for a homeless teen over the holidays. Its just another day for us. We are church-going Cristians and I know its supposed to mean so much more, but the media makes you think happy-happy-joy-joy all the time and it just doesnt do it for me.

is it available online too? I may not get to Target until Wednesday...

I have never had a bad turkey from any brand, i guess it depends how you cook it and what your tastes are. There were a few years that we had butchered our own wild turkeys for the freezer and didnt buy any from the store and they take some prepping to get them to come out just right. When you are out of work you don't get picky.

Also last year at Menards I found the left over early bird stuff still available at the sale price later in the day as well as the next day. So if you don't mind picked over things, you can still get it for the BF price anytime that weekend.

right now, Walmart has a Panasonic phone set for $79.00 and free ship. Amazon has the same one for $81.26, free ship and NO sales tax. I'd still be better off getting the amazon one without our state sales tax and Prime shipping.
