WOW I just got the promotional $10 game credit from amazon on top of my $50 CODMW2/$29.99 LIVE deal! That's like getting both the game and the 12 mo card for $69.99!

We bought this same refurb system last November sans games for $149 from TigerDirect and its still going strong. Ds#1 bought a refurb Elite for $199 from OnSale.com a few weeks ago and passed the other one down to little brother. The plus to the Elite this year was the HDMI cable, which Microsoft quit including.

I was happy getting CODMW2 and the 12 mo card for less than $80 combined. If I pay $59.99 instead of the $50 previously sold at, what diff does it make if I get a $10 gc? Yeah I cant figure Amazon out! Id rather have them discount the game than having to wait for an ecard. They just do that to make sure I come back and buy another game LOL! C'mon Amazon just drop the price. Its like Staples and their infuriating Rebates and Coupon codes. These places make me work so hard to save a buck!!

Modern Warfare 1 is now $29.99! I got it on amazon a week ago for $36; so between that and the $5 price drop in GH Metallica, I am sending both back for a refund and buying them at the new reduced price!!! Savings of $11 and some change. Probably cost me $2-$4 USPS out of pocket to ship back but I think it's worth it.

I saw that but,,,,,ds got ODST for $34.99, and I got MW2 for $50 + $29.99 for the 12 mo gold card. That was a very good deal. I got Forza 3 for $34.99 a week ago (for myself lol I love driving my Challenger into the walls ugh!)
