As soon as our High School football season is over we're putting up our lights. If we wait till closer to Christmas, it'll be wayyyy tooo cold here.

Every year it seems I buy TV trays from Menards

a friend of ours worked at our local walmart, at that time they could not use the discount for early bird BF items...they could not even get the items...they had to have firends or family members get them for them

It isn't just you...my kids aren't into toys this year either. With them being 9 and 11, they more into electronics

One year we didn't take them down...BIG mistake...by the time we wanted to take them down our tree grew so big, we couldn't get to them...lol:gd_opera:

Definitely my MIL. I think she goes out of her way to buy me the most useless gifts she can find. Every year I tell her if she feels it necessary to buy me a gift I'd rather get a gift card or $. Personally I'd rather she didn't buyu me anything at all.

This year the hubby and I were thinking of doing a 12 days of Christmas for the kids. Give them 1 gift on ech of the twelve days of Christmas. Does anyone else have any cool ideas as to how they give their gifts to people?

Just wondering if anyone here does Saint Nick's Day. Here we put out our stockings on Dec. 2nd, that night Saint Nick comes and fills them with goodies for the kiddos and when they wake up on the 3rd they can't wait to see what they've received.

I just got home from my WALMART, and they have a tone of those on the top shelf, not priced. I know someone else mentioned this in an earlier post but you might want to go to Walmart to see if they have them in sight...if so ask them how much...it may already ring up at the sale price. I forgot who posted earlier but something else in WALMART's BF ad rang up the sale price, so you might want to check it out.

Even though we see the ads here 1st, I still eagerly await the ads in the paper.

I have to agree on the temperature thing, it's usually in the teen's maybe 20's if we're lucky here.

Some really trendy shoes to wear would be nice, some that have a button to press to raise you up high enought to reach the top shelf.
