    MENARD'S deals

I personally thought Menards was awesome...i was towards the front of the line though. I got everyhting i wanted but the store was EXTREMELY crowded. I guess more people are "on" to Menards. They are usually always the first stop on my list.
  4. At first when our kids were younger, they got the same number of gifts. now that they are older and understand, we spend the same $ amount on each of them. So we've explained to them that even though one or the other may have more gifts...they both = the same amount of money, and they are ok with that.

    Joann BF?

Joann's does have BF sales and they are usually very good. If I remeber correctly though...they are not super earli in the am. Also I think the sales at Joann's are better during opening weekend of deer hunting.
  13. Kmart's prices always seem to be a couple of bucks higher than all the other stores too...Im talking on a year 'round basis...not BF
  14. I personally get a kick of of Larry the Cable guy's parady of Christmas songs, it is off the wall hilarious!
  15. If I had a job where I got a discount, I would have no problem using it to buy something for someone if it's what they wanted in the first place. Don't feel silly at all.
  16. I am a very avid in sewing. You guys might be better off going to a sewing machine store and seeing if they have any good used ones. Brother sewing machines are not very good. In my personal experience you are better off buying a better brand but used. Many women such as myself will upgrade to a newer model, thus trading in a machine. You can find some very good ones that way. I currently own an Elna and a Bernina and they are wonderful.
  17. I like the two John Grisham wrote a couple of years ago

  23. You may want to check to see if your area has a freecycle gorup. It is a group that you can ask for stuff and get rid of unwanted items rather than throwing them away. It is pretty cool if you have one in your area, check it out.. I think you just go to freecycle.org and look for you in your area.
