  1. 50% off Halloween here. No orange tubs. I did get some cubes of Kleenex for 50% off, striped not Halloween and a Hot Dog costume for my dog but that's about it.
  2. I love the planning. I spend HOURS on GottaDeal.com checking out the ad previews, reading the forums, planning where I am going to go first.
  3. I read about the "secret sale" last year and the year before here on Gotta Deal. We got a laptop two years ago and two tv's and 2 itunes gift cards last year.
  4. Rice Krispie Holiday Wreaths. My step daughter and I enjoy making these every year. Ingredients 3 tablespoons butter or margarine 1 (10 ounce) package regular marshmallows 1 teaspoon green food coloring 6 cups Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® Canned frosting or decorating gel (**We use red hots for the berries and thin red licorice to tie for the bows instead of frosting or gel) Assorted candies Directions In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Stir in food coloring. Add KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal. Stir until well coated. Using 1/4-cup measuring cup coated with cooking spray portion cereal mixture. Using buttered hands each portion into small wreath. Decorate with frosting and/or candies. Best if served the same day. Footnotes MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: In microwave-safe bowl heat butter and marshmallows on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until smooth. Follow steps 2 and 3 above. Microwave cooking times may vary. For best results, use fresh marshmallows. 1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow creme can be substituted for marshmallows. Diet, reduced calorie or tub margarine is not recommended. Store no more than two days at room temperature in airtight container. To freeze, place in layers separated by wax paper in airtight container. Freeze for up to 6 weeks. Let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving. 5. 1) Little do these people know it, Best Buy sold all of the door busters online on GottaDeal.com this year instead. 2) We can hear you knockin but you can't come in. 3) We really should have shopped online instead.
  6. ---- I can watch for you both also. I work in Bloomington and live in Elk River so I can hit a variety of stores. Let me know what you are looking for. I am watching the Razor retro ride on scooter. Regular price is $238. I've found it 50% in a couple of places but really want to wait it out to 75%. Please let me know if you see it lower than $119 anywhere in MN. Thanks!
  7. I went to three stores yesterday in MN on my way home. At the first store I found two boxes of crackers with trees and snowflakes on them, then little milk box looking boxes of the chocolate goldfish with trees and snowflakes and then the Keebler Ginger bread and similar cookies. Then I even found some tape, granted it was still 75 cents, but better than the $2.39 that was regular price. I get to the register and NONE of the food rang down at all. They wouldn't mark them down either. I was so mad! All three stores were still at 75% and not a lot left. I did see some of the retro razor scooters, but they were at 30%. I would love to get one for less so if anyone else in MN sees one marked down, please let me know.
  8. I also got the jacket. I picked up one last year in store on Black Friday and it is warm and well worth the $18!
  9. Menards also has the Cricut in their Black Friday ad for $148.
  10. Yes, it's the original White Wii. You get one remote and Wii Sports. I sent DH out to get one before I read about the $20 coupon. I might have to find it and see if they will honor my coupon that I "forgot" to use. Edit: found the $20 off any Wii system coupon. It is valid until 11/24 and in stores only. When you look at the Pre Black Friday sale ad on Target's site, page 5 says "click here for in-store savings". On page 2 of the coupons is the $20 off Wii coupon.
  11. Thank you Brad and GottaDeal.com! It's so fun to look at the ads ahead of time and plan my crazy shopping day. I don't see anything that I will stand in line for at Target but the ad will be nice for price matching some of the dvds at Walmart! :-)
  12. What time are those of you going for the tvs going to Walmart?
  13. I just went and checked and they mailed it to me. Must have been all the money I spent on Zhu Zhus there last year. :-) If anyone wants my $10 off any $100 purchase bonus savings card (valid 10/31 - 12/24) PM me. I don't plan on using it. It is for in store purchases only and you have to be a Rewards member.
  14. Letters are a lot harder than I thought! lol. It says Gd $ in case you can't tell! :-)
  15. I worked downtown last year and noticed the Nicollet Mall store is way behind the other stores in marking things down. I've gotten things there at 75% some time and other times it went from 30% to gone - like they salvaged it. That store is one of their flagship stores that they use for tours and demonstrations, so maybe they like to keep it cleaner looking and more of the full price retail items. Keep going back if you can, you might score some good deals. I went to two other stores yesterday and the Otsego store (which is the largest Target in the country) had hardly any clearance items and the stuff they had was only 30% off. The other store had a TON of stuff, but most was still at 50% (toys, clothing, etc.). Just look around, maybe some of the stores in the less wealthy areas, to get the good deals. P.S. I found two packs of Oreos in with the regular ones that rang up 29 cents (or so), and then two boxes of the fancy Pepperidge Farm designer cookies that said "holiday entertaining" on the front but were ringing up at $4.99. I asked and the manager told the cashier that those looked more holiday than the oreos so ring them at 90% off. I think I'm good on cookies for awhile! :-) Couldn't find any holiday ritz or the tape that people have been talking about on here.
  16. That's funny - my min pin loves beanie babies also. I usually give him the smaller ones. He likes to rip the eyes, ears and noses off them.
  17. Good. I didn't miss out on it then! You have to look - sometimes the free item coupons say not valid with any other offer EXCEPT $10 off $30. I've been able to stack those two coupons many times without any trouble.
  18. I just stopped in at B&BW and they have their 14.5 oz Three Wick Candles (reg 19.50 I believe) on sale 2/$20. I got a Fireside and a Tree candle, added a 3 pack gift set of P.S. I love you products ($10) and used a $10 off $30 purchase coupon. I forgot to print out the coupon in another thread for a free item with a $10 purchase, or I would have had a really smoking deal. We are burning the candles now and they are very nice.
  19. I'd say try it. I wouldn't wait too long though. Maybe go in today if possible and tell them in all the madness you forgot to give it to the cashier.
  20. Try calling your order in. On the sharpie deal, items that said out of stock online, were available on the phone. It's worth a shot. Good luck.
  21. I just called in an order. My total out of pocket was 72 cents! The availability of items on the phone differs from that online. The 12 pack listed in the original thread IS available. Many other items are not, but I was able to get enough to hit $25 and free shipping for being a new customer. Thanks for the tip OP.
  22. I saw them but didn't get one. They were back in Electronics by the photo printing area.
  23. Ours opened the games and movies displays at midnight too, although I didn't know that at the time. I got the Celebrity Sports and Kawasaki ATV ($7 and $10) for Wii, but they were the last two of them. Didn't see a lot of Wii games, but they did look picked through. (This was about 3:30 am so they had already been available for 3 1/2 hours)
  24. Please add me to the drawing. Thanks Gotta Deal for making my Black Friday a success!
