Well, I only bought it last Sunday, and it's down to $1299 as of today at CC, and this is the busy shopping season, so it's worth keeping an eye out. Not sure about Sears and the coupon, but I know that if you find it lower, CC will price match 110%.

I own the Panasonic 42" Plasma, and the stand it's on is different than what I can see on the Walmart BF ad TV. The model # that I can read on the ad is: PDP42V18HA which, I can't find anywhere on the internet??

I bought the Panasonic Plasma 42" for $1479 last Sunday. Today, in store, the price is $1299 (so, no need to wait for BF, if you're looking for one). They did the price adjustment. Yippee! And now, not to get greedy, but what happens if the price drops again in the next 23 days (since they do it up to 30 days from purchase)? Can I go back in and get a credit for the difference between the $1299 and whatever it drops to? ((I doubt it will drop, I'm just curious..)) Threads merged by Patty (noehlp)

Update...My local Circuit City is already selling the 42" Panasonic Plasma for $1299. I went at lunch to get my price adjust, and my friend bought one, and the CC price is $1299. I'd get it now if I were you...that way you don't have to fight the crowds on BF!!

It absolutely is a great deal. I have this TV, and it's AMAZING. CompUsa has it on sale right now for $1299 so you don't have to wait for BF.

Do you know how many times I've added to and emptied my cart because I don't *need* anything, but this deal is so sweet?!?!

So let's say that if you got the 42" Plasma today...if you go in on BF they'll price adjust as long as it's in stock? I'm assuming that the stores will sell out of them really quick, so I'm guessing you'd have to sit outside as long as everyone else just to get the adjustment since they have to be "in stock"?

It's taking every ounce of energy I have to stay off the site!!! I love Bare Escentuals, and 20% off is awesome, but I technically don't "need" anything right now (which is not to say I don't "want" anything!!). Lord, give me strength!!!

Ya, I hemmed and hawed over that too. Last night I was at Best Buy, about to shell out $1894 after taxes for the same TV, and then I re-thought it. It's hard to beat $1359...especially from a reputable online retailer. I read up on Consumer Reports last night about buying a TV from online retailers and they say it's just as safe as any other, if not more inconvenient if something goes wrong. A little irritation is worth the $535 difference in my book!

That's because the Amazon.com seller sold out of them, so now it's being sold by Electronics Expo. If you give it a few more days, they'll have more in and it'll have free shipping again.

I was THISCLOSE to getting this TV last night at Best Buy for about $500 more - I'm glad I waited - I just placed my order!! This is Consumer Reports highest rated plasma, next to the Panasonic 50"!!

I know online it says, "Online Only" but sometimes they're carried in the stores...has anyone noticed if their in stock in the store?

I love Verizon's home service. Always have. Always had GREAT customer service experiences with them, too. I just was trying to save a buck. Sometimes it's not always worth it. I had Verizon cell service from 1997-2005, I changed only because they don't have rollover. My husband and I don't use our cells alot in the winter, but we use them ALL THE TIME in the summer, so I thought I'd try Cingular. Big mistake. Cingular's customer service is OK, but their reception SUCKS. I'm going back to Verizon as soon as my contract expires.
