  1. What the heck?! Is it a Thursday already?!
  2. It's going down...keep your eyes peeled! Down to $79.99 now...
  3. This sounds like my talks with Verizon today...what a waste of time. I haven't read much good about MagicJack yet and I believe there's a "don't get Magic Jack" thread on GD somewhere. I've wanted to try Vonage, but when I called for their free trial, they said I had to disconnect my current phone service to be able to use it. I didn't want to disconnect my regular phone service in case I needed to go back to it...without having to pay a re-connect fee later. Figured since the Vonage was using my Broadband, it wouldn't affect my regular line, but I guess I had that wrong.
  4. I got my Garmin Nuvi 360 from Amazon about a week ago for $237, then they did a Gold Box deal and I got them to price match it to bring it down to $219. (It's currently $225.) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000EXS1BS
  5. Back up to $89.99 "available from these sellers"...
  6. Haven't tried Ebay yet...spent my time looking at retailer websites so far, but as you noted, all seem to be fancy, expensive vanities so far.
  7. Does anyone know a good, reputable, discount online cabinet supplier? Right now I'm looking to replace a few bathroom vanities affordably and don't like any of the local selection at Lowes & Home Depot. Eventually I'll be on the hunt for kitchen cabinets as well. TIA!
  8. You are wonderful...thanks for the info!!
  9. So, if he's already purchased video/songs on the Itunes store, the Creative software will convert it to a usable format for the new player? I know the Itunes stuff is weird, so I have to ask.
  10. bumping...still need to know :confused:Any help is appreciated...TIA! For those with anything but an Ipod...can you get videos to d/load onto them like you can on Itunes? My son has a shuffle and a Nano, but wants to upgrade to a classic Ipod video so he can watch shows/movies, etc. I really hate the price on the Apple products, so I've been looking at other options. Now...just need to know what type of software any of them use and can you get video downloads?
  11. How about "The Sandlot?" You just can't beat that film for a good time family movie IMO.
  12. That's why I got the Tivo option when DTV had it! Don't have to rely on Comcast On Demand to see my shows.
  13. I feel your pain...I hate Comcast. I switched my tv to DirectTV a few years ago, but had to keep the most basic cable for local channels. Even with only basic service, I have problems with them. I had a problem not too long ago with the box on the outside of my house and asked them to come out and fix it. It took 13 phone calls and almost 6 weeks before they bothered to fix it. Rude customer service, "I don't care" attitude...it's a wonder they have any business at all. I use Verizon for my phone & internet and recently bundled my DTV with it, so I get about $30/mo knocked off my entire phone/internet/DTV rates. When & if they get Fios in my area, I might be going that route if it's as affordable as what I'm doing now. But, I'll never give any more business to Comcast.

  15. Maybe you could trade in the extra one(s) at Gamestop for credit??
  16. Here's a link that was posted on an Amazon.com discussion that goes into detail about the kit. http://wii.ign.com/articles/882/882958p1.html
  17. Great, I don't get enough sleep now....
  18. Do you know what comes in the kit yet? I'm guessing it's like Rock Band, but for $190, I'd like to know for sure.
  19. We subscribe to the Lego club thru their website (I think it's $30/40 for a year...but the kids get a Lego magazine monthly and a new mini-set each month...exclusive set only avail. to members). With each shipment comes a $5 off $35 coupon and a free admission ticket to Lego Land park (CA?). Other than that, we usually get the best deals when the local Toys R Us runs a BOGO 1/2 off sale ...usually around the holidays. My kids just cannot get enough of Lego! If you are looking for more pieces and not specific sets, you can get (used) bulk brick lots on Ebay for relatively decent prices.
  20. Okay, I just bought the Rock Band thing for PS2 for my kids...if I go ahead and upgrade to the PS3...will they be able to use the PS2 Rock Band game or will I have to get the PS3 version?! Anyone know?
  21. Is this coupon an online code thing? If so where can I find it...?
  22. If they put up one more pair of speakers...
  23. UGH :gdparanoid:missed the crap, "something wrong with your order" error message...by the time I figured it out, I missed it! But the Woot-Off continues...
  24. 25% off entire purchase (valid thru May 12th)...enter code 526 at checkout.
