  1. :) That's OK! When I originally started checkout, I backed up and tried to order 2. (One for myself), even though I knew it said there was only one. But the page came up and said there was only one available. I just hope this goes through! If it does then I can go ahead and get them a DVD recorder. They only have a player, and neither one of their computers have a DVD burner. My walmart still has a bunch of recorders for $79.00.
  2. No! It was listed as NEW. That's why I am really concerned that I read it wrong or something.
  3. I know it was released on the 19th, I worded it wrong. The circular starts on the 3rd, BUT the Wii isn't being sold until Wednesday, the 6th, a lot of people thought it was being sold on the same day the circular starts.
  4. I was in the online deal section, and saw the link for the Friday sale at amazon for the flannel sheet sets for $10.99, so I clicked on it...anyway, I decided to look and see if there were any camcorder deals. WELL..OMG my hands are shaking. :) Sony HandyCam DCR-DVD403 Digital Camcorder with 10x Optical Zoom, 120x Digital Zoom Technical Details 3.3-megapixel gross CCD imager with a large 1/3-inch advanced HAD (hole accumulation diode) CCD provides stunning detail and clarity with exceptional video. 2.7-inch wide 16:9 hybrid touch panel LCD with recording and zoom buttons on the LCD frame. Visual index uses a simple chapter menu to display your video footage and provide a quick search of your favorite scenes or still pictures without the hassle of wading through endless tape. Just choose your chapter and watch. Professional-quality Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* lens precision guarantees a crisp and clear image every time. DVD-R/-RW/+RW-compatible, and with DVD-RW and DVD+RW you can rerecord more than 1,000 times on a single disc. Super NightShot plus uses infrared light to let your camcorder record images in colour in total darkness. There was only one. $11.95 and $18.45 for shipping. Am I missing something?? I re-read and re-read then I just went and ordered it before someone else saw it. Think it's for real or did I screw up somewhere??? I've been wanting to get a camcorder for my son and his girlfriend, but having been waiting to see if any good deals popped up. So even if it isn't what I thought, it's only $30.00 out.
  5. The WII isn't being released until Wednesday morning at 8:00 am.
  6. This isn't something that is set in stone. I've pretty much got him all that he's getting, BUT....you never know what kind of deal might pop up, and he's still talking about wanting one.
  7. Not at all. I have most of the gifts bought, but the majority of them are on LAW yet. The tree is up, and most of the decorations are out. I still have not checked to see how much paper I have left. I might get some of the LAW's out this weekend. Some may wait until the 15th.
  8. I usually wrap a little at a time. Usually during school hours. I don't trust my 10 to stay asleep if I was wrapping. He doesn't usually get awake once he's asleep, but I'm not taking any chances! I have a lot of closets, and a few rooms that he doesn't go in so the smaller stuff is fairly easy to hide. A computer is going to be a little difficult, so I think that will stay at his brothers house until after Christmas Eve is over, then bring it in once I am sure he is asleep. Everyone gets their own paper, and of course Santa has different paper than the rest. Now if I could manage to get through a wrapping session without loosing the scissors and/or tape, inkpen, I would be thrilled.
  9. Most definately! She's way too young to not believe.
  10. I forgot, be sure to check your local Walmart and see if there are any of the ones from BF left. 1G for $13.47. They normally start at $40 for that capacity size. We have about 100 left over at our store, and we had a lot left last year also. So I am assuming that most stores still have some left.
  11. SD cards are indeed universal. As long as it says SD you are fine. The main thing is the capacity size. The higher the number, the more pictures it will hold. ex. 256 mb/512mb/1G/2G. They do not have to be any particular brand. (Kodak does not make theirs, just a FYI).
  12. Wow that's pretty neat. But then.......I keep thinking about finding stale marshmallows God knows where for months to come!!
  13. The only place we go is to my moms for a while, and probably this year will go to my oldests sons house, because his girlfriends son is only 3 instead of dragging him out and away from his stuff. Since my youngest is 10, it's not like when he was younger, and dragging him away from the toys. Plus between my mom, my oldest son, and my 2 sons dad, we all live within a 4 block radius, so it's not like the younger one can't pop in and out between houses.
  14. Depends on how you feel. I try to make it even. But might spend a "little" more on my son. My In-Laws always tried to make it somewhat even also. (If either one of us got more it was me). That's another story though! :)
  15. I like anything with a cinnamon or spicy smell.
  16. By Christmas Day. I usually am MOSTLY done by the week before. But there is always "something else" I forgot, or decide that I should buy, etc.
  17. No theme here either. Same ornaments every year, but I do add some new ones every year. Not so many balls, but I prefer novelty type ornaments.
  18. I don't actually have a set time. Just when I can get around to it. I just got mine up this past Saturday.
  19. I was there on Sunday, didn't see the snowman, but a cute penguin. Week before they has Dora and Spongebob.
  20. I gave in this year for his 10th birthday. Insteaad of putting him on a plan, I just got him a virgin mobile. In the beginning he went crazy. But he's calmed down down and rarely uses it. I mainly gave in because I wanted to be able to get a hold of him if he was with his friends, like at the playground, or just out and about. Or even if he was at someones house, drives me crazy if I need to get a hold of him, and wherever he may be, their phone is busy, busy, busy.
  21. I set up a Santa's wish list at Walmart.com and he went through and added about a million things. I just tell everyone not to use the list at the register when they buy anything so that he is not able to see that it was purchased.
  22. That was my main concern. But if there is a filter, that would be a good thing.
