  1. Here's one for 20%. Good until the end of December, I don't have an exact date. 99819662
  2. In case anyone is still looking, http://www.sharperimage.com/us/en/catalog/product/sku__HB403YYY $14.98 and free shipping. (It's a refurb but has a 1 yr warranty, and 30 return privelege.)
  3. I have NOT heard anything like this at my store at all. Also, on the layaway thing. If something has gone on clearance while it was on LAW, then yes, it will be on clearance if it gets put back on the shelf. BUT, not everything returned from LAW is going to be clearance, a lot of those items are still going to be active, current stock and will be whatever the current price is.
  4. My store has a bunch of them yet. I picked one up on BF for $8.88. They are pretty neat. Even if your mind tends to think of other things......
  5. This is strictly a YMMV...my Walmart has had the warming throws for $20 since BF, and I noticed the other day the electric blankets were marked down to $35 for full and $50 for Queen and King.
  6. I have to work day after Christmas, so by the time I get off and am able to get to the clearance stuff, it'll be all picked out. I guess I could try to get some things at lunch, but it's kind of hard because there are so many people there.
  7. Don't know anything about it, but that's a GREAT price. Now you have me thinking about buying one. And if you scroll to the bottom of the page, the 1 year replacement warranty is only $5.88. That doesn't kick until until the mfr. warranty expires so that gives a 2 year warranty.
  8. What about an accessory for the IPOD or PSP? I needed some little gifts for my younger son and one of the things that I got him was a set of covers for his shuffle. There are (I think). 6 in the set and they were around $16.00 at Walmart. But they have all kinds and some are less expensive. Or like some of the others suggested. a baseball cap, (if he wears hats) or some clearance tshirts from AE, Gap, Aero, etc. Something I always got my oldest son as extra gifts was funky boxers. I stopped when he was about 20 and got together seriously with his girlfriend.
  9. I totally agree. I got my future DIL stuff for her. A couple of T's from AE, and a set of pots and pans which they requested. Still working on the camcorder. I did buy the baby 2 things,( not due 'til Feb) just the activity walker from Walmart on BF and a baby's first year calendar, but they are totally separate from DIL's gifts.
  10. The extra money you would be putting out for the photo printer could be used to buy a little better camera, or a docking station, which is nice for keeping the battery charged. Also if you DO go with a bundle (or any camera), make sure that the camera that is included has an OPTICAL zoom. NOT just a digital zoom. Makes a big difference in the picture quality.
  11. Just an FYI, the photo printers are nice from a convenience standpoint. But honestly, it is less expensive to have someone else develop your pics for you. And I do tell prospective customers that if they are debating whether they want a photo printer.
  12. I have not heard anything like this at work either. I inquired on another message board that I belong to and no one there knows anything either.
  13. Not yet. Between work and trying to get shopping done, and trying to watch for price drops on camcorders and the computer I have on layaway I haven't really had much time to actually "think" about it. I think in about a week or so once I decide to put the presents under the tree it may start to kick in. I don't want to put the presents out yet, because I am afraid that by Christmas between 2 large dogs and a nosey 10 year old they may be all ripped up and have to be rewrapped. (Although I would NEVER put the 10 year olds out until he's asleep Christmas Eve).
  14. Yes, if someone would have came into Walmart, they certainly would have argued the point. Yeah, but they wouldn't have gotten very far! There's nowhere near that amount in my account.:) Yes, I know that would have been a big bite to take. Was still hoping they would honor it though. Nah. After they cancelled, I didn't feel like ordering again. There's no sense in arguing about it, I'm not going to get anywhere with it. So....I guess I'm probably just going to buy the one we had for BF. It dropped $10 from the BF price, and with my 10% discount that will just have to do. But thanks to all of you for your comments and support.
  15. Yes, because it is now relisted on Amazon, but the price is $1195.00. I guess they forgot a couple of zero's.
  16. :bigcry: Oh well, I knew it was too good to be true. But it still had my blood pumpin' there for a while. :)
  17. Well I just got home from work, checked my email and this is what I found Greetings from Amazon.com, We're sorry, but the following order from Wall Street Photo has been canceled. We apologize for any inconvenience. ================================================== ORDER DETAILS ================================================== 1 of Sony HandyCam DCR-DVD403 Digital Camcorder with 10x Optical Zoom, 120x Digital Zoom [Dolby] (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000I7XUZ2) Your credit card was not charged for the order. 18. I just logged into my account at Amazon and got this message Shipping Soon These orders are being prepared for shipment and cannot be changed. • Order placed on December 3 --
  19. It NEVER happens to me. Even when there is a really HOT deal posted, by the time I get there it is dead. That's why I KNOW it's gonna get cancelled. It was just a fluke, and only because I went to look at the $10.99 flannel sheets. (Which by the way I didn't order because I got all excited about the camcorder.)
  20. :) I won't consider myself lucky until I have it in hand!! I think if it would have been directly through Amazon, it may have slid by because there was only one. But since this is a smaller seller, I am sure that it will be caught and the order cancelled. But I am still holding out hope. The retail from what I have seen is around $1000. I keep checking my email for a cancellation, but I guess it is a little too soon for that. I will be sure to let everyone know what happens.
  21. Dang! I had some things on my cart also, but it wouldn't take the code. Said that it was invalid.
  22. No, it was not directly through Amazon, it is a company called Wall Street Photo. Now that I have calmed down a little, and came back to reality, I really am starting to think this is not going to happen. I can not imagine that they will not catch the error.
