You know what strikes me as odd.. When I was in grade school, every year, we would go and visit the local nursing home in town, and sing xmas carols to them, and also Pick a person and give them a small bag of cookies that we baked. These school DONT do this around here. I'm kinda wondering why. I think we have 2 nursing homes in our town, and 1 is "you have to have money to be there" and the 2nd is more rundown and people there are probably alittle more needy.

My mailcarrier is "okay". So last year, I wanted to give her a small jar'd candle, and a card. It was the subs day (which I didnt realize), and I never got any thank yous or anything. Not even a nice smile.. sheesh! So I dont know if I"ll be doing anything this year or not. Last year really left me with a raw feeling.

We get ours delivered, and it was missing ads. I can remember not receiving Sears, CC, Ritz, and Ace off the top of my head. Might be a few others, but I guess I didnt miss them. LOL
