I usually just look at the cooking times on the turkeys package. Just make sure to clean it out real good (including packets of Giblets). Put it in a roaster pan on a rack if you one. Went to ours today, and they only has 2 racks of clearance stuff left. (1 for men and 1 for women) And nothing really that was appealing. Guess I missed the boat.

Just to put my 2 cents in.. when I was talking to the ritz salesperson today, she made up my mind when she said that Nikon only goes with Nikon lenses. But Canon's can use many other makes of lenses. So with that said, I was thinking .. "If I'm not able to pay top of the line prices for a brand new lense, at least if I get a canon, I can get a used one that someone wants to let go for a fraction of the price. " HTHs someone.

Just got back from Ritz camera and heres a Tip for the dust issue: Salesperson says to always shut your camera off while your changing lenses, cuz if not, it will suck the dust right in it. Also it cost $75 to send it out to clean.

Okay, got another question re: the xt and xti. I've read a lot on some photo forums about taking pics in RAW. And noticed that the xt only had 4 RAW frames, and the XTI had 10! I'm not really sure what RAW is, (still learning), but is this something that is going to be important as I improve my photography skills?

Sounds like everything I want to do with my camera as well.. but one thing, If you get that once in a lifetime shot of your kid smacking/catching a ball, your gonna want to blow it up... trust me! :) I posted this awhile ago on the forum, and wish I had it in more mp's to blow up.
