I like the ideas of bright colors and something like 'gottadeal veteran, stomping out the competition for the best deals'! Lol

I've noticed my stores doing a lot better job clearing the regular items of holiday stuff on clearance. I used to find all kinds of stuff they missed and now, nothing. Trying a different store today in hopes of finding something but not holding out much hope! Luckily I already got the candy I needed 75% off the day after Halloween at CVS so at least I'm not looking for that.

One of my stores was 50/70 off and the other 30/70. Had some cute stuff still left and tons of costumes.

DVD's and gift cards are my choices!

Still only 50% and 30% here. I scanned. Lots left at the one I went to today!

My mom and I have gone every year together and occasionally have a few tagalongs. (sometimes my grandma, sometimes my kiddos now that they are getting older). We hit up the main stores on our list then stop at Chick Fil A for a quick breakfast and maybe home to unload before going back out!

Kill em with kindness! LOL I too try and ignore it. Thankfully I have never had to fight anyone for anything.

Always go with someone! The more the merrier!

Kohls and target!

I always get nervous and anxious. I wonder what kind of crazy I'm going to run into this year! LOL! There is always someone starting fights and those folks who have no manners! I just don't want to get caught in the crossfire! But it's always fun to watch!!!

1. I have been Black Friday shopping for 35 years! 2. I plan to spend more this year because my kids are older and ask for higher ticket items. 3. I do plan to shop online this Black Friday but still always find something that I can only get in stores that I have to go out for. But I do as much as possible online ahead of time in case I can't get it when I get to the store! 4. I plan to shop with three people besides myself. (me, my mom, and two daughters) 5. I think one thing that could be changed is better crowd control before stores open. I hate it when one person waits in line and then just as the doors open 20 friends join them in line.

a new tv for our rec room! My kids have only mentioned a few items they want. My oldest hasn't said a peep about what she might want.

I always go over.

Seeing the forum traffic pick up and discussions on the deals this season. (and it helps that Target and Kohls started putting up Christmas decorations in September/October)

I always find deals on things for myself too! Depending on the deals to be had, part of my shopping is always for me. Can't pass up some of the deals. In need of new towels and mattress toppers for my kiddos!

I also did about 75% of my shopping online before I went out last year! Saved a lot of hassle but still went out to see what else I could find that I might of missed! Always love to see how crazy people get about things!

I too worked at Kmart back in High School as a part time job (one of two part time jobs) and I also notice how downhill they have become. I don't even shop there anymore and we used to go every year on Thanksgiving morning and black Friday. Sad.

Going out early on black FRIDAY to shop with my mom every year! Always had a blast and seeing how many bargains we could get!

Seeing the ads start popping up! And Christmas showing up in stores.(already for weeks now!)

We always lined up early for the free gift cards! Way back when....and the snow globes at Pennys!

I shop throughout the year! The big gifts for my kids have to wait because they change their minds so often I don't want to get too much stuff I can't return later!
