  1. Found some toys 70 off here but still some marked only 50 and 30 off. Found Halo legos for 70 off but wasn't interested in those. Some others were 50 off. Got a few things but not much I was interested in this year.
  2. One of my stores went 90 off and one is still 70. Pretty much wiped out here except for the items you can find in the regular aisles. (beach towels, suntan lotion 3 packs, lighters, plastic cups with straws)
  3. I think I slept through the patio clearance. One day it was there, the next GONE! Our toys are holding at 30 and 50 off.
  4. Our baby stuff clothing and accessories had already went 70% and is all gone. As far as the big items, last week I checked and items at my store were still 50% off and had been for a few weeks. Not sure if it dropped lower this week or not as I haven't went back this week. For me if I'm not there on Monday when they usually mark it down, that stuff is gone so you might have missed it depending on your store. Some stores had already dropped to 70% off on the larger items a few weeks ago.
  5. I stopped at one store at lunch and the lady was just starting to mark down stuff. There were two people but she told the one guy that was going to help to go to lunch so I couldn't wait. I went to another store after my apt and they had marked a lot of their stuff 70% off. The signs weren't changed of course so I had to check all the tags and some stuff was still in the regular aisles but most of it was moved to one aisle. I did manage to find a few things but the first store I went to had several more items than the others. But all in all, a productive stop!
  6. I went yesterday just to scope it out and saw some new stuff marked down 70% but just a few items that weren't marked down previously. I too only saw a few items I wanted so I won't be too sad if I don't get there. Very slim pickens at the 4 stores I've been to this week. (and that's good for my bank account) LOL
  7. I was also disappointed in Meijer! As another poster said people were grabbing items before the 6 am start time and we were there prior to 6 and several items they didn't even have to start with. Did manage to get two laptops for my daughters at walmart and it actually wasn't too bad except it was crowded and you could hardly move. Got a ton of movies and sweatshirts, pjs, etc. the normal. I managed to get some sheet sets. I did most of my shopping ahead of time online so that saved me a few extra stops. A very productive few days.
  8. Nothing big enough of a deal that I would 'camp' out for.
  9. We hit Target when they opened last year, waited in a huge line for a few hours to check out as we wound all through the store aisles. We went to another target around 4 or 5 and it was abandoned and we found most of what we needed/wanted.
  10. If you have a party city nearby they usually have little treats that would be good for that.
  11. Halloween clearance salvaged here in Indianapolis at the Castleton Store.
  12. Nuttin' for Christmas (sorry if already used, I didn't have time to double check at the moment)
  13. 70/90 off here too! At the Indy West store and Plainfield.
  14. My mom and I go. Last year my two daughters decided they wanted to go and loved it. It was fun and we could send them after stuff we couldn't get to. Some years my grandmas went with us as well but they couldn't keep up with the pace and gave up.
  15. Mine-where one person gets in line and all other 50 of their family members (I'm exaggerating) wait in the car till 5 minutes before opening and then they all climb out of their nice warm cars just in time for the store to open. They should stand and freeze like everyone else or go to the end of the line!
  16. Also against, but it won't stop me from going out either. I always went out years ago when it seemed like KMart was the only one open Thanksgiving day. But I preferred the excitement of the 6am opening on Black Friday Morning!
