  1. Duluth Trading's stuff is great but expensive. My son got a Dickies work coat and it is great. He wears it for his winter coat( we are in New York). You can get them at Wal-Mart I think, online, and at J.C. Penny's. I don't remember exactly which one he got, but it was around $35-50.
  2. I want to get some jeans from Wal-Mart. With 5 boys and hubby I need to get them cheap:) I would like to get the dc a game table of some sort( foosball, air hockey, ping pong) and I am looking at the Magnetics for one and the telescope at WalGreens for another.
  3. My sisters and mother usually go. My husband will go with me as long as I don't make him go to Wal-Mart. I usually take my ds 18 with me( he loves it as much as I do) to Wal-Mart and any other stores like that, then take him home to watch the rest of the dc while hubby and I hit the smaller less busy ones and then njoy a breakfast out.
  4. I put Wal-Mart since I really want to get some of those jeans, but not sure if I will hit there or Target first.
  5. Sounds good to me:) But I agree they need some better deals.
  6. Bummer I wish I had seen this earlier. Wal-Mart has it for 35 but I would have gladly spent 39 to make sure I got it and to avoid those lines.
  7. I wish I knew where a Kohl's was around here. I keep hearing they have great deals. Old Navy is just too far away, but I hear they have grat tights. If they were on sale for a great price I might be tempted
  8. I saw online that they also have some women's flannel-lined barn coats on sale for $29.95. just search for barn coats on their site and scroll down to sale items.
  9. unfortunately my son would need a small and they don't have it in that size.
  10. My take on it is that while I think it should be Merry Christmas, the employees should be allowed to say whichever. They should not be barred from saying Merry Christmas but if they want to say Happy Holidays also that should be fine. I am glad that they are bringing it back.
  11. Yes, I am not really seeing anything that makes me want to get out of bed super early and stand out in the freezing cold.
  12. So does this mean that Harbor Freight does not have any early bird specials? Are they a brick and mortar store or online only? I have seen their ads but never seen a store.
  13. Cash or debit card here. I will probably stick with cash so I do not accidentally go over my allotted amount.
  14. I think I may have to stop there while I am out today. Thanks
  15. We don't do Halloween either, but I always get these for my children. The older ones who don't qualify for the age limit I do buy the .99 one. So since our oldest is out of the home now, I can get all 7 of them a frosty for 1.99. That is a great deal.
  16. Took son(17) and hit Sears, Wal-Mart, and Target one direction from us. Came home by 9 and dropped off son to do breakfast with all the kiddos then hubby and I hit K-mart and Radio Shack( in the opposite direction). After that we went to breakfast at Ponderosa since they had their breakfast buffet open late and and had coupons for it also. I think that was probably the best part, breakfast with hubby. I did get everything I was going for.
  17. I have been there later on and seen the items that were left over still at the same early bird price, especially if they had a lot left over.
  18. mostly immediate. Our children draw names to buy for one sibling( there are 8 of them:)). I buy for sisters and hubbys( combo gift) and nieces and nephews. Also for my mom and dad and hubby's mom and dad. Buy for Hubby's brother and sister and grandmother. We also buy for his aunt and uncle since they always send our whole family gifts. I usually try to do homemade gifts for older relatives and books or such for nieces and nephews( they already have so much of everything). I do make cookies and candies, jams and breads, etc. for neighbors, maillady, and snowplow driver.
  19. HHmmm, I will have to check this out. I would love to be able to get some decent shirts for my boys for that price.
  20. I would have to second that. We live outside of Buffalo and do not go into it to shop. I prefer my small town stores since I normally have no problem getting what I want. I have gone into Amherst/Williamsville area to the mall there, but it is still a small place. The Galleria is huge.
  21. I usually try to leave my house at 5, but I also rarely am there for the door busters.
