I agree with Peggbt, I got my daughter her first AG doll for this christmas and she is 7 1/2, she has just in the last yeared started playing with the dolls, before she just carried them around and they got really dirty. I would def hold off on the AG dolls until she is old enough to truly appreciate/take care of them. The our generation dolls are a definite alternative, but even those are 40-50.00. I would wait until they go on sale or check ebay for a cheap 18" doll.

Please say those are considered landmarks, I can't run around this town looking like an idiot again......They definitely make our town unique

Sorry about the first pic... Ok so here is our watertower......the tree that out 1996 tornado threw a street sign through, and the fish on top of a tackle bar, that is a landmark in itself, but was also hit with a stick in the mouth during our 1996 tornado

Maybe the mayors mailbox, but I am not for the stop sign.....or the house. There is nothing unique or landmarkish about it. People worked hard for the other tasks, even leaving home to go to a local target. I would think if you want it bad enough you will be willing to truly work for it. Go out pick your 80 year old convenient store, get the boulder outside of town that you use as a directional piece for the pizza man, the bench at the park, plaqued for one of the presidents.......something, but I don't think this should count Sorry

Ours here is Decatur illinois is not leaving, I don't understand. They never get any business, but it is cheap to live and work here, so maybe what they are making is a ton better than they are paying out.

Gina- yes you need a guitar for this. you can buy them for 60.00 average. or bundle them with a guitar hero for about 89-100.00. ALLI have this game and do enjoy playing it. Especially for the Wii which until this week only had 2 guitar hero versions (GH3 and GH Aerosmith). I paid 59.00 the day is came out. 19.98 is an EXCELLENT PRICE. I doubt at anytime it will drop below that. I have to say it is not as good as the GH regular games. It has less songs and a different method to unlocking or getting the next level. Not all are Aerosmith. But it is awesome because it is basically the story of how they became in game form, with actual songs they used to cover. I don't think you would be dissappointed especially for that price. My DD7 love guitar hero she doesn't care what game it is. Hope this helps

I have never shopped at Sears, it has never had items that peaked my interest enough for me to go. plus most everything I want Walmart price matches the ad, so i get most of my shopping done in 3-4 stores MAX. I have never done the price adjustments though. I think I am definitely going to look into doing that this year. I hope that the items are on the floor prior to BF. My luck they wont be.

I did great last year, was first in line at Kmart TG day sale for the wii, and 2nd in line for the CC Compaq laptop for 299 with free router and printer. This year I am determined to be in line for the LCD/Plasma Tv's. High hopes anyway.

I am only using Walmart to price match this year. I am boycotting the BF doorbusters. i hope they lose more money from me getting good deals than they make. I know that's like oxy moronic but I have had trouble with the "fortune 500" company and their customer service skills on more than one occasion and it has left a serious sour taste in my mouth. I'll even stoop to BL before I do Wal-mart again! BEST BUY HERE I COME!

ILLINOIS IS THE SAME WAY. We are now up to 10% tax on takeout and 8.5%-10% on everything else. NOTHING IS TAX FREE!! i even go to our auction house and they tax. Wasn't that stuff taxed when it was purchased the first time!!!! I hope we get a good president to help relieve some of this crap.
