  1. My group needs midnight deals and 5am deals. We're going to get there around 10:30 on Thursday night and just spend 6.5 hours in Wal-Mart. UGH!
  2. I tried calling my wal-mart and the manager would not even get on the phone to speak with me. The person that I talked to started rambling on about comping stuff and saying that they would comp it but it had to be within the hours listed in the ad and that I'd need to bring my own ad, but I never said a word about comping anything. I asked her about 1 item limits and she said that if it states it's a 1 item limit then you can only get 1 (well DUH!), so I asked if she knew if there was such a limit and she said that nobody in the store knew anything about the sale and they hadn't even seen the ad yet. I just said thank you and hung up.
  3. I'm hoping that the Ds' don't need armbands too, because we need 3 of them and a digital camera, and there will only be 3 of us.
  4. Toys R Us!!! Went for the first time ever last year and it was just down right DANGEROUS!! We ended up leaving empty handed after spending 2 hours in the freezing cold in line. It was literally packed shoulder to shoulder.
  5. Our Wal-Mart has 0 candy left, but all the other Halloween stuff is 75% off! There is still 1 full side of an isle left, and it's pretty packed!!! It's mostly costumes and accessories. I've been going every morning to check it and it doesn't look like they've sold a single thing. They're putting up Christmas stuff all around it, so it HAS to go lower soon or they'll salvage it.
  6. Ours is still only 75% off. Not sure what the candy is, but there isn't much of it left anyway. I guess I'm going to have to check daily because they still have TONS of stuff that I want.
  7. 90% this morning at my store, but it was still signed 75%. Got a Candace Corn costume and a Snow Princess costume for my girls, pencils, erasers, bat rings, piggy bank, plush Elmo bucket, l/s toddler shirt, little box of candy, a Princess spinner thing (it wasn't tagged so the girl punched in .15), and a Christmas Polly Pocket!! There was a Halloween PP too, but I put it back when I found the Christmas one! It happened to be hanging with the regular PPs, but I only found 1. After TM discound, Redcard debit card discount, and tax I spent.....$8.76, saved $85.07. There were still lots of costumes left and a TON of orange pumpkin pails for .10 each! If I had somewhere to store them I would have gotten them to give to Chloe's class with goodies in them next year. There were still tons of dog costumes left too, but there was a lady with her buggy piled FULL of them and then some stacked underneath it as well. Wonder what on earth she's going to do with all of them?
  8. Ours went 75% on Wednesday and it was still 75% today, but the candy went 75% today. There were several isles full of candy at about 11:30am, but there were lots of people in the area and people with their buggies pretty full! I didn't see anyone with mounded buggies of it like I usually do, but I'm sure they got there eventually!! I also found 2 bags of the mini bags of Snyders pretzels for .99. The outside of the bag looks like a pumpkin, but the inside bags are not Halloween at all. Mine are dated 12/26/10. I'm going back in the AM hoping for 90%, there's a Snow Princess costume that DD really wants.
  9. I called 2 stores this morning and they're both saying everything is still 75%/50%, but past experiences make it so hard to believe them!
  10. Ours went 75% today, but it was still signed 50%. Ours always goes the Friday following the holiday unless the holiday falls on a Wed or Thur.
  11. I called my local store and they checked and said that Halloween is 75% and candy is 50%. I asked when it went that and she said, "Oh, a couple days ago." LMAO! Unfortunately my local store is really bad at answering questions over the phone!! I called a store a little further from me and she confidently said that it went 75% off yesterday and candy 50% off. The two stores are usually the same, so I think my local store probably went yesterday. If it did go yesterday then it either wasn't signed until this morning and no one knew, or no one wants the stuff at 75% off, because there was a TON of outdoor decor and odds and ends. The costumes were mostly picked over and missing pieces though, except for the 100 dog costumes (at least it seemed like that many)!!! They had like 2 full aisles of candy left too!! Oh, and this is OT of Target, but Wal-Mart went 75% off today. My Wal-Mart wasn't signed, but it scanned 75% off. Unless a holiday falls really close to a Friday then it always goes 75% off the Friday after the holiday. At least that's how it is here.
  12. Here's the dates for my store the past 2 years........ Halloween 08 Sat, Nov. 1st, 2008 = 50% Tue, Nov. 4th, 2008 = 75% Sat, Nov. 8th, 2008 = 90% Halloween 09 Sun, Nov. 1st, 2009 = 50% Tue, Nov. 3rd, 2009 = 75% Sat, Nov. 7th, 2009 = 90% I'm not sure what day ours went 75 this year though or if it even has yet, because I haven't been able to make it to Target since Monday. I'm planning to go tomorrow to check for 90% though, and have my fingers crossed that it goes!!
  13. My Mom got a book in her paper yesterday and gave it to me. It had a coupon on the back for $10 off $75. I went to TRU today to get the things I wanted and they were out of the wooden Crayola easel. The girl said that the books were sent out a week ago and they had people coming in asking for the stuff so they started the sale prices a week ago and had already sold out of the easels!!!!!!!!!!! Luckily I was on the phone with a friend who told me to ask for a rain check and the manager agreed to give me one for the sale price and the free item. I was able to find everything else that I wanted, but there was only 1 Little Mommy Play All Day doll and its demo doesn't work. We're going to open it tonight after DD is in bed and change the batteries to make sure that's all it is, and if it's not I'll have to exchange. Another thing I didn't like.....The $10 GC you get with coupon can't be used for 6 hours. I paid for my Moms stuff and got the GC and was going to use it to pay for my stuff but I couldn't. Oh well though, I still have to go back for the easels anyway. Oh, and my store had a TON of the books, but they didn't have the coupons on them. The had a long table full of them and then a big box full sitting at the entrance.
  14. Went in Target yesterday and green dot was marked 50% but scanned 75%! There wasn't really a lot left though. I did get some Elmo books, gift bags, socks, and Elmo crayons.
  15. I just called the 800 number to get a book and he said that they have already been sent out and that there aren't anymore. He said that a store MIGHT have some, but it's not likely. He also said that the flyer that comes in the paper contains SOME toy book advertisements, but it's not the full toy book and won't have the coupons.
  16. GREAT! My husband and I both need jeans. Now lets just hope they're actually good jeans!! It says reg 15.99 - 44.00, wonder how many of the 44.00 jeans they'll actually have?
  17. It would only replace your debit card at Target, but yes you do still get the 5% off every purchase and the pharmacy rewards (not sure what they changed to) and you can set up a school for Target to donate to. I've had a Target debit card for a couple years now, but my husband is an employee so we have to have it to use our team member discount with our debit, otherwise we have to pay cash, check, or Target CC.
  18. So when are these prices valid?
  19. I thought the same thing when I saw probably 100 Easy Bake Ovens on my Target's very top shelf.
  20. My Wal-Mart would have absolutely nowhere to put layaway. The place where layaway used to be is now the photolab. They recently completely remodeled and even did away with site to store.
  21. Anyone else's store have the Baby Alive doll on clearance? I can't remember which one it is but it talks when you push her bracelet. My store has had it for 30% off for a few weeks now, but I'm hoping for 75%. Anyone saw it lower than 30%?
  22. Has anyone saw any Dyson's on clearance? or know where I can get a Dyson printable coupon? or ever better....both?
  23. Found a 2 pack of Circo brand crib sheets for .66!! Sticker said "As Is" and said the original price was 2.48. There were a few other "As Is" items in infants, but none as cheap as the sheets.
  24. Last year TRU. It was my first and LAST TRU visit on BF! Like the first poster said the lines were wrapped around the building and they let WAY too many people in. You couldn't move!! I ended up ditching my stuff and leaving, but in order to do that I had to climb over pallets of toys because people wouldn't let you through what they thought was the checkout line! Last year Wal-Mart was also a really bad experience! When we arrived at 3:30am there was a lady checking out with one of the BF TVs, and people were walking around with their carts overflowing with doorbuster items! Of course since everyone else was snatching things up I wasn't going to sit back and let everything get gone, so I loaded up too. We were at the checkout well before 5am. The cashier told us she couldn't check us out until 5, so we said fine and waited. Then about 1 min before 5 a CSM came and told all the cashiers to start. Well apparently this cashier was ticked off at the world that morning because she just stood there. I said, "She said you could start." Then she YELLED at me, "MY clock doesn't say 5am yet, and that's not my boss!!! I'm not starting until MY BOSS says so!" I took a deep breath and told her that there was no need for her to yell at me, and she just rolled her eyes. I've NEVER in my life had an employee anywhere yell at me like this!! When I got home I sent Wal-Mart a letter about her and later got a call that she was being disciplined for her actions. To this day when I go in that Wal-Mart and see that girl I get evil looks and eye rolls.
  25. My Target had TONS of workbooks and books left yesterday morning, but there were employees working on taking it out and they snapped at me when I picked something up and started looking at it. Most of the people at my Target are friendly except for several of the pricing team members. They're rude and NEVER have a smile on their face, always a frown or a scowl. Guess that's why they're pricing team instead of cashiers. Several of them are really nice though.
