Wow! What's up with Target this year? Maybe it will jump from 30% to 75%? Surely 2-21 isn't the date they they'll go 50% on the dollar spot, especially with Easter not that far away.

Don't know if this helps anyone, but here are the previous years dates for my stores. I think most were the same, but I'm not sure.... Valentine's 08 Feb. 15th, 2008 = 50% Feb. 18th, 2008 = 75% Feb. 20th, 2008 = 90% Valentine’s 09 Feb. 15th, 2009 = 50% Feb. 17th, 2009 = 75% (red dot dollar spot too) Feb. 21st, 2009 = 90%

I managed to snag a full Circo Penguin bath ensemble all at 75% off (shower curtain, rug, towels, etc). I also found a Creme Brulee set with torch and ramkins for 30% off, and forced myself to buy it since I didn't see anymore. I don't usually buy things until they're at least 50%, but I've been trying to find a torch FOREVER! I really don't know where Target had these hidden at because I've looked there for a torch there many times, and even asked and they said they didn't have such things.

Does anyone know if the curtains and such went down more today? Any other markdowns? I can't get to Target until after I get my niece from school this afternoon.

Didn't see anything new marked down today. All the big baby stuff we had are gone, but it was late in the day so it could have been marked down I guess. There was a ton of make-up marked 30% off, but I don't usually check that section so IDK when it went down.

I didn't make it to Target yesterday so I don't know if more curtains/bedding/etc. went 75% off or not, but I was watching some storage baskets and tonight they were all gone! I found 1 lonely one on another shelf and they had gone salvage at 50%! The girls said that they are starting to salvage more stuff at 50% . I also found a black wall hanging thing that had mail dividers, a little drawer, and hooks for keys but it wasn't even coming up that it had ever been in the system? The girl said she couldn't sell it to me at all but could sell me the basket for the last price that her little thingy showed, which was only 50% off. I was very sad about the shelf thing because I REALLY wanted it! I did however find a bath rug, a contoured bathroom rug, and a hand towel for 75% off that match my shower curtain perfectly!! YAY! Funny thing is I found some in Wal-Mart earlier that I also bought at full price, but something just wouldn't let me do it! I was so excited that I got all 3 things for less than what just the hand towel was going to cost at Wal-Mart.

Ooooo...need to go check on the leotards on our way to dance later!

I have found a Britax infant carseat and a Sit N Stand Stroller (2 actually, but they were different). The carseat was the July before last and the Strollers were last January. I also found Skip Hop Due diaper bags this past July and this past January, and surprisingly every bit of this was found later in the afternoon. Oh, and Monday I found 2 Baby Bjorn carriers at 5pm. The diaper bags and the Bjorns aren't "big", but they are rather expensive. Oh yea I found a $100 baby monitor in July for $25.

Most of the smaller baby clearance went 75% here yesterday too. There was still a small rack of onsies and little packaged outfits that were still marked 50%, and since I didn't need them I didn't scan to check them. There was still some of the hanging clothes that were 30 - 50% too. Didn't have much time today but I found a few things around the store at 75% off... ###White Twin down comforters ###a couple pieces of jewelry ###Air mattresses ###All I bought was a Pet Taxi that I've been watching. It was only 70% off though, but was the last one and was only $13.xx

We still have a ton of stuff in lawn and garden, but this stuff was on the very last isle in toys. They had it sectioned out with big signs above each section...$1, $3, $5, $7, etc.

I'm going to bet that camping stuff will go next week. Last year I bought a tent at 75% off when I bought toys, but I know it wasn't the first week toys went because I only went to 1 store the first week and I bought this at a different store.

I haven't found any clothes at my Wal-Mart but the last 2 times I've been in I've found a few toys for $1. The other day I got a WM brand Laser Gun reg. $5 for $1, 2 Elmo musical books reg. $7.97 for $1, and 3 Blingy Cell phones for $1 (not sure reg price). Tonight I got My little Pony set reg. $6.88 for $1 and a baby doll accessory set for $1. They had several more MLP sets and the individual LPS animals for $1. As well as books and various other small toys.

Just wanted to add to this that not just any employee with a PDA can do this. Most all of them have PDAs, but ONLY the pricing team's PDAs will adjust the price down. So when looking for one with a PDA make sure they have a PDA and a printer either attached to their belt or in a buggy near them. At least that's how it is at my store, because I've taken the same item to a regular team member with a PDA and they scanned it and said the price was correct. Then I found a pricing team member and they scanned it and it had gone to 75% off.

I've never saw employees shopping in my store, but I have offered them stuff if they commented on wanting one and I had more than one. I've never had anyone take me up on it though because they all said that they could lose their job. When I got my 21 rolls of tape I tried to get the cashier to "put a few back" because "I didn't want them", but she wouldn't do it. Anyway..... Decatur, AL is 75% off on MOST toys!! The rest will probably go in 2 weeks, because that's how they did it last year. Most went 75% off on the 15th and then the rest went 75% off on the 29th. Though they seem to be messing with me this year so it might not. I got everything I wanted and then a few more things I didn't need. I wasn't planning on going tomorrow but there are 2 things that I REALLY want so I might go first thing just to be safe. My store ALWAYS does toys first thing on Thursday mornings, but there wasn't a pricing team member to be found in toys today. I found one in the furniture area and she said that they weren't doing toys today, so I asked when, and she said that they weren't allowed to say. I was like ok I just knew yall usually did them on Thur, and she was like no we don't. So that right there told me that she didn't have a clue or she was calling me a liar, because I know from personal experience and speaking with the pricing team leader that they do. However, she did say that they were behind since the holidays. There were also some people doing markdowns in the kitchen area so I grabbed a few things there for the new house. I checked out shoes to but they didn't have anything in the sizes I need. Maybe I'll go back tomorrow and check again. To the person wanting the Manny toolbench.... Where are you located? My store has 15-20 of those things!! ETA: I just saw that you are in Memphis, TN. I'm in AL, near Huntsville.

I don't think that it will be tomorrow because for last year there were tons of people reporting back that there's went 75 on Wed, and then ours went on Thurs. However, I hope that I'm wrong and just in case I'm going to be there bright and early. I could use the kitchen stuff too though since we are buying a house, so it'll be worth it to check out that stuff!

I meant DPCI, and it's the long number beside the item on your receipt.

Does anyones stores have any play kitchens on clearance? If so, would you mind getting the DPCI for me? I have 3 stores within an hour of me, but only 1 is close enough to travel to to check out often. I would love to be able to call and see if any other have a kitchen, because the nearest doesn't.
