It may have been the inventory team. At our stores about twice a year there will be a whole bunch of people spread out all over the store scanning things for inventory. They aren't Wal-Mart employees though. For your sake I hope it wasn't though and that they did some super awesome markdowns!!

Backpacks finally went 50% at my store, but not sure exactly when. They marked some more school supplies 30% (there was still a lot that wasn't marked at all), and some more 50%. Lunch boxes are still 30%, and the thermoses have completely vanished . They have a good bit of Halloween set up, but I overheard an employee tell a customer that they were just getting ahead by doing it and that it wasn't due out yet.

Most of the school supplies at my store were still 30% off today. There were some trapper keepers, a few binders, and a few lunch boxes at 50% off, but it all seemed kind of random. Backpacks all still appeared to be 30%. We started school the 10th.

Nothing good today. I did get some toddlers Circo dresses for 1.50, but that was it. Was hoping for some more 75% stuff in girls and infants.

I've never known of it to go 90%. They usually salvage it a week or so after it goes 75%. In my experience the only thing to go 90% is holiday stuff. I have found the occasional random item at 85%, but not often.

It looks like one of the sets that they carry around Christmas. Maybe her store just found some in the back that were missed? I couldn't find it online but haven't has a chance to check my store yet. I'm not holding out too much hope for it though, but if I do find it I will be super thrilled!!

Decatur and Huntsville, AL stores went 75% off today!!! Was there when they opened and the pricing team had already gotten a good start on marking things down. I was lucky enough to find a nice one that scanned a few things for me that they hadn't made it to yet and only 1 thing didn't go down further!! I'll post my loot in a little while.

Gonna be there bright and early tomorrow!!! Hopefully ours go down too!! and hopefully they didn't try to mess with me and go down today, because they usually go down on Thursday.

I saw the Tickle Me Elmo hands a couple days ago at Wal-Mart for $10. They were in they're regular spot with a big red clearance tag underneath them that said 10.00. I know Wal-Marts are very different everywhere, but if you need them then it might be worth it to check there.

Found 2 different types of Maybelline mascara marked 1.24 and 1.48 (75% off), Lash Stiletto Waterproof (red tube) and The Colossal Volum' waterproff (yellow tube). They have the same mascaras full price too, but the difference is these have 4.99 and 5.99 printed on the packaging in the top left corner (it's big, you can't miss it). Also, my store finally marked the light pink and white glittered ballet flats to 75% off!! I think some others did that a while back, but mine apparently just went this week and there is still half an endcap full today. Unfortunately the size I needed for my youngest were all gone, but I got a pair in each color for my 5 year old and a pair for a bday gift.

Hope I didn't miss the girls jeans!! They didn't have many in the sizes I need last week, so if they went down yesterday then I know I'm out of luck.

I didn't get to go to the sale until Saturday, but I still made out with a few good things. Jeans for DD for $4, long sleeve shirts $1 each, hoodie for me $4, hoodie for DD $3, and a few other things. After discount, coupon, and tax I spent $26 and change. I bought one of the $10 dresses too though. The dresses are really short, but it'll work perfect for a bathing suit cover up.

I hope our jeans don't go until Monday!! They were still 50% off as of Thursday, but I haven't been able to go back since then. Hopefully they didn't go down on Friday! I knew I should have gone in there yesterday when the kids wanted to!

Folded girl's jeans still 50% off here, but they took the big 50% off sign off the top of the table. I probably should have scanned them but didn't have a lot of time so I didn't. The pink and white glittery shoes and the Princess tennis shoes are all 50% off. They have a whole endcap of them so I'm hoping to score some for my girls when they go 75%. Didn't check on anything else because the girls were being horrible so we just left with our milk.

Found a pack of 84 size 1 Huggies diapers for 4.26 yesterday! The sticker on it said "online item" (which was actually the red & white stickers that they use for the regular clearance now, just with a barcode on it). I also found the Dora Links doll for $12.48, but I didn't get it. DD has been begging for it since it came out, but after looking it over I decided it probably wasn't something that she would play with that much anyway. Anyone know if the girls jeans went 75% off today? or is my store the only one that has them since no one else has mentioned them? They have a whole little island thingy FULL of Circo brand girls jeans that have been 50% for 2 weeks, and when I was there on Thursday it was still full. Hoping that they went to 75% today so I can get DD a few pair to play in.

Now that you mention the barcode I remember them. Haven't had one of those in a LONG time. I just remembered them being longer than the little red ones. My bad.

ALL of the clearance tags at my store have been the longer red & white ones lately, so I don't know if that is an indicator anymore. Though I know those tags used to be on repackaged and online only stuff, not sure if that is how it is anymore. At least at the store I frequent anyway.
