She already has a laptop. What we were thinking of getting her is something she can take to class. She commutes and right now her schedule is 8am to 3pm. She has taken her laptop to school and has found it was really heavy to carry around all day. We were looking for something smaller and lighter, that is why we though a windows tablet.

That is a lot out of our budget. She just needs something to take to school instead of lugging the laptop. She mentioned others had something small so was trying to find something that would work. For example one teacher told them to bring in their laptop or device they will be researching something they are doing in class. Thanks

That is what I am finding out also Riven3d. The Westinghouse everyone said not to get, and it has lasted. My decision is whether to get the Hisense or the TCL...

The TCL from info I have read, they make parts for Samsung. So if the parts are good for Samsung they should be fine for a bedroom TV. LOL I will also get the warranty with it from Squaretrade, so not really too worried. I still have a Westinghouse going great that I got back in 2007.
