My Son is in the Military and bases are on High Alert. There have been new lists released and yes Thanksgiving has been mentioned as a likely date for an attack It is so sad that we have to think about these kinds of things.

Thank you, I think the Hisense is $599 at my Walmart, not sure if it is the same one. I don't see a TCL anywhere. Who knew it would be so difficult to decide on a simple TV for the bedroom. I am now looking at a Hitachi at Walmart for $599 (Sams had it on 11/14 for $349) Of course there is no Sams near me. My stores within 20 minutes is Walmart, Kmart, Home Depot and Lowes. I have to drive over an hour to get to any decent stores...

LOL I agree for our living room but this is for the bedroom and don't want to spend too much. I was hoping for a 50 or 55" not smart TV but seems they are all coming out smart

I went to an AT&T store and asked about a 2 year contract renewal and was told that they no longer do it... I will be going to a different one, after reading this, My Contract is up in December and I was afraid I would have to go on the Next plan The other 3 on plan are on it. and we hate it

How is Element as a TV. Wonder if it will be online. Target is an hour away from home. Walmart is one of the few stores we have in our little town along with a Kmart, Home Depot and Lowes. I was looking at the Hisense and the TCL in Walmart's ad because I am indoors waiting for the sale to start LOL

Wow not one TV

Thanks Freesia we don't have any iPad or a Mac here. Navy DS does have a MacBook but he will have that with him wherever he is. He wants to be on a Sub, so only contact will be whenever they stop. If he was surface they do get limited wifi time on ship, and FB messenger is used a lot. Maybe I will have to ask for an iPad for Xmas. Lol.

I an just not happy. We need to replace a broken TV and are just not finding good deals in the ads. Wonder why this year seems the worst ever.

My contract is up in December. According to AT&T I am eligible for an upgrade on the next plan. I have the S5 right now. Was thinking S6, iPhone 6s or waiting on the S7 to come out. Only reason I am looking at an iPhone is because (1) Galaxys no longer have the memory card slot to increase memory and (2) my Son is in the Navy and could use FaceTime with him in the future. Of course DH and DD both have the iPhone 6 as does Navy DS. Need help, I have never looked at phones on BF. Right now I am ending my contract, the rest of family all are on the Next plans with Att. Help

OMG A BIG ONE!!!

Darn it I should not have looked at this post. Seems since my Son joined the Navy my Thanksgiving table gets bigger each year. LOL I have not even started to plan my menu and this year I will be cooking for 11 Sailors who will be coming to my Son's apartment on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, I cannot cook for them on Thursday since they all will be working but have off the Saturday and Sunday, Now I have to plan then come back and post, Last year we had 5 Sailors plus my Son, Hubby me and my Daughter, Not complaining it is great to take care of these young men and women when I can, :)
