Two years ago I bought 2 American Girl dolls for my DD. We gave her one for her Birthday that year (8th Birthday) We were living in a rental house and that Christmas I forgot to give her the other doll. When we moved into or house last year 2007 DS found it and showed it to me, I said hide it since it was for Chrismas 2007. We still have not found it and Xmas 2008 has come and gone. I have Samatha and Nellie in hiding to give out thruout the year for Easter and yearend report card but still have not found the doll from 2 years ago. Hopefully I will find it before she no longer wants American Girl dolls. This Xmas I did find the build your own dollhouse and a pink Monopoly game I got her for last Xmas and "lost" so at least it is only one thing missing right now (I think)

DH was having a problem with his Zune. I would not charge. I finally reset it and now it seems to have charged, I hope it continues to work. I bought it from Toys R Us back in September and when I registered with Microsoft they said the warranty is over on it. This is the new Zune that came out this year.

HITS: DS13 16gb Ipod touch, Olympus FE20 digital camera, laptop, xbox games, wii games cds. various books Anthony Horowitz, the New jr Bond (Bond for kids), Twilight books 1 & 2, the Inkheart series, (he kept trying to read them whenever he opened them) He got a lot since he had his 13th Birthday on 12/21 also. DD10 8gb pink Zune, laptop, DS games, Mia (American Girl), Samsung pink camera, Another Cinderella Story DVD, cds, various books Main Street series, Meanest Doll series (these books are by Ann Martin), Bella Sara book, DS game and specialty cards, skateboard (but cant use it yet since it has been raining and we have snow on the ground Both kids GHWT band kit and game Loved it but they cant play yet since we had to move the game table in front of where the drums would go when we put the tree up. They also got one of those indoor basketball games which we also cant set up until the tree comes down. DH lowepro camera bag, 8gb black Zune, Me silver/gold bracelet, 2 DS games and gift cards for Amazon (saving to get the Pandigital Kitchen Technology Center it is a 15 TV/store recipes/internet access) Not opened yet but they still liked Fly Fusion plus accessoriesn for both kids, and Leapfrog Crammer (dd10) MISSES: None yet thank goodness. I will update once all the video games have been tried out.

I helped them also. I did a lot of online shopping this year and saved a bundle. If not for Amazon, my kids would not have gotten what they did.

OMG Scanner I feel your pain. We used to have assembly nightmares before Christmas too. My Mom taught me when I was a lot younger to assemble before Santa, so Santa delivers it assembled. Whe we had kids we just followed that. All I did yesterday was set up DD's laptop, (after setting up DS' laptop on Sunday he got for his bday/xmas) then loading on all her cds (I mean all cds) on said laptop then syncing her Zune. Then onto DS computer to load his cds and sync to his Ipod touch. Of course he has done something to his laptop that is causing s problem, thank goodness my BIL is coming over today so he can check it out. I then had to set up DH Zune after he kept saying his Zune was not charging and wanting the receipt to return it. So after doing all the set up for everyone elses gifts I went to bed. No time for me to play my wii games or my ds games. So much for watching movies all day. Today I get to cook for my Sister and her family because they are coming over to do Xmas all over again.

That is the perfect present. I wish I was going. I soooooooo want to go back to Disney. Pleeeeeeease can I come with you???????????????

Separate an put some in a box inside a box inside a box etc. I did this one year for my Nephew and he loved it. He kept opening the boxes (I did 10 in all) and the money was in the last and smallest box. One year I made a money tree. I took bills and attached it to a "tree" that held ornaments. He kept it in his room and whenever he needed money would take a couple bills off the tree. You can make a tree by attaching the bills to a tree drawn on a large construction paper. Good luck. I have had fun doing this stuff for my Nephew who always wants money. This year I am got him a Visa gift card.

Just came back from TRU. I got the crammer. They had tons left. I had already ordered the case for it from Leapfrog when I ordered the fly fusion bundle. That came yesterday. Now I just have to wrap everything.

I was able to get everything with no problem. No searching or running from store to store. This year was easy.

Where are you located? I am in PA. I wonder if it is all TRU that have it for that price. I would love to get it for my DD. I saw it on Amazon for $23.99 (no shipping no tax) but I did not jump on it. I am hoping it will go down after Xmas. Right now it is $39.97 on Amazon.

I am in Milford, PA. It is snowing again here. We got over 10inches on Friday, snow flurries all day Saturday and now we are getting another 4 - 7 inches today. HOpefully the kids can go to school tomorrow. Another snow storm is expected Christmas Eve.

Thanks for the response. I think I will pass on this one since I already got the Guitar Hero DS. The kids will each have one because I got the first one back in the Summer. I know they love the Guitar Hero, so I was hoping it was similar.

I got these last year and they did not last very long. The cover broke the same day:( I was going to order again not remembering that I had gotten them last year when I showed it to my DS he reminded me about the ones I had gotten last year for him and his Sister.

Does anyone know anything about this game? How does it compare to Guitar Hero for DS. We already have both of those. It is a great deal. Amazon has it also for $19.99 and also for Playstation3 and Xbox but it only had 3 stars for the Xbox version. I dont know if I should get it for my kids if it is not going to be as good as the Guitar Hero DS

Ddi you purchase the 16gb or the 8gb. The gift card is only for the 8gb touch. I was hoping it was also for the 16gb since that was the one I bought with the oops sale. I actually bought 3. Maybe they will have a deal this weekend:D
