I have not started yet. Bad year so far. The kids have not given any clues on anything for them. My Nephews will get cash since that is what they want. Yikes its October already.

I also dont think the Xbox360 is good for a 5 year old. Most of the games are geared towards teens. I think the wii would be a much better choice since it is geared towards younger kids and families. We have both the Wii and the Xbox360 and ds15 loves the Xbox but he is a teen lol

I love these. They also make great gift bags!!!!! -
My DD loved her Uggs and her Chi flat iron. DS actually like Call of Duty Black Ops for Xbox even though he kept saying he did not want it. DH was thrilled to get a piece of the Daytona track since they resurfaced it in 2010. He was very surprised (he is now saying he owns a piece of Daytona). All in all everyone loved everything. We are on our way to my Sister's to give them their presents so will update what my Nephew says when he gets his GPS and all the stuff for his 1st car. My Nephew loved his gifts. He said he needed a GPS and loves the stufff in the bag. W got him jumper cables, tools for his car, a detailing kit, cleaning supplies, flares, a ice scraper and brush (which he will good use of since we are in the middle of a blizzard.

Thanks for the great idea. The fur and feather kids always get gifts but they don't return the favor. I think this year they will!!! lol. They are family too.

Several have some good recommendations (more than 3/4 stars) you may find something that the may be interested in if you know him http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=sr_pg_3?rh=n%3A468642%2Cn%3A!11846801%2Cn%3A11075831%2Cn%3A12508681%2Cp_n_feature_three_browse-bin%3A2055862011&page=3&bbn=12508681&ie=UTF8&qid=1292931054#/ref=sr_pg_1?rh=n%3A468642%2Cn%3A!11846801%2Cn%3A11075831%2Cn%3A12508681%2Cp_n_feature_three_browse-bin%3A2055862011&bbn=12508681&ie=UTF8&qid=1292931215 -
Ebook reader for library books
racerfan replied to hoover67's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I have the Nook and also have a Library Card thru the Free Library of Philiadelphia. I am a PA resident so for me it was free, non residents pay an annual fee of $15. The selection with Overdrive is not bad. I also went thru it to check out what books they have and they have a very good selection. -
Best Buy Reward Zone Members - Check your emails!

I am another one that BB hates. Got nothing via email or when I logged onto RewardZone. I have spent a small fortune there this year, I guess that is enough for them. -
Yes with the wireless adapter it will pick up the router from another room. We have our router Upstairs in the Master Bedroom and DS Xbox is downstairs in the Game room and it worked fine. I got a linksys adapter not the Xbox adapter, at the time it was cheaper and it worked fine. We no longer use it since we got the new Xbox slim which is wireless. By the way you said you just got the Xbox, is it the new slim version if so it should be wireless so you wont need the adapter, it will connect to your router you would just have to put in the keycode if you have one for it to lock onto the router. The new Xbox works just like the wii now that it is wireless.

I second the headset and also if your house has a wireless router you will have to look into getting either a wireless adapter to go online, or hardwire it. For Live to work you need internet access. Also keep an eye on Ebay and Buy.com I picked up the 12 month membership for $38.99 on Buy and have seen it for similar price on ebay.

No you don't, it is just an accessory. The remote/nunchuk works just the same way. This is actually attached to the remote like a nunchuk.

I got the email also. DD is only 12 so I think Seventeen is too old for her still. I am looking at Twist and J-14 for her. Are there any other suggestions?? -

Ok does anyone know how good a laptop this is. My friend is looking to get a tablet or maybe a netbook to do the following: surf the net, read email, watch movies, play games (not sure what kind but think like bejeweled, sudoku, chess, have apps, and do some of the stuff that tablets advertise. Would it be better to get a tablet or this laptop for the money. I think he has been looking at the tablets for under $150 and he does not know what the differences are. I told him even a laptop like this would be fine for what he wants to do, plus he could do more. I am not that familiar with tablets. Thanks for any answers.
