I'm just watching their special sales leading up to it. They've had some good deals.

I'm hitting Old Navy, my son has that game on his list and I always get them some clothes.

I'm back I got my Xbox from walmart. Even with taxes it's a great deal. Almost everyone in line was getting the Xbox. Guess they had a lot of TV's because they had a limit of 2 per person. Everything else was 1 per person. Got there at 6:30 was 4th in line, by 7 the line was around 50.

That's cool, I just can't camp out anywhere this year. If I go out it's gotta be nice and easy. I'm still using a walker from the back surgery I'm hoping to not have to use it by then but I'm still gonna have to be careful. For me this would be perfect. At least I would get 4 doorbusters.

Explain Jim I'm curious why it isn't a good idea.

I'm working on mine. I don't want it to sound like a sob story but standing in line isn't going to work for me this year (the walker wouldn't go over well). It would be so awesome to win this, of course I would have to drive a ways to get to the city but I think it would be worth it.

I was just thinking yesterday I should have hubby bring my tree up. I'm off work until at least the 19th. I can't set the tree up but the family can, I can decorate it though.

I'll be there for the Xbox. Wow ya can't argue with $100 giftcard on a $200 product. Not to mention it's on my son's Christmas List.

Mine go in either the trunk of the car or in the closet under the stairs. I have a padlock on that closet all year long so it doesn't seem odd to the kids that it's locked.

Buttermilk White Cake with Coconut Prep: 1 hr. 15 minutes Bake: 25 minutes Cool: 10 minutes Ingredients 5 egg whites 2 cups all-purpose flour 1-1/2 cups sugar 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 cup buttermilk 1/2 cup shortening 2 tsp. vanilla 1 recipe Buttercream Frosting 2 cups coconut chips or flaked coconut Directions 1. Let egg whites stand at room temperature 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans; set aside. 2. In large mixing bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Add buttermilk, shortening, and vanilla; beat on low until combined. Beat on medium 2 minutes more, scraping bowl. Add egg whites; beat 2 minutes more. (Batter will appear curdled.) 3. Spread in pans. Bake 25-30 minutes or until tops spring back when lightly touched and wooden pick inserted near centers comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pans; cool completely. 4. Prepare Buttercream Frosting. Place layer flat side down on plate; spread top with some of the frosting. Stack second layer flat side down; frost top and sides. Sprinkle coconut. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate. 5. Buttercream Frosting: In 4-quart mixing bowl beat 3/4 cup softened butter on medium until smooth. Gradually beat in 3 cups powdered sugar to combine. Beat in 1/4 cup buttermilk or milk and 2 tsp. vanilla. Gradually beat in enough additional powdered sugar (3-1/4-3-3/4 cups) to make of spreading consistency. (on a side note I usually just buy my frosting but my recipe has this included so thought I would include it for everyone here)

Had the surgery. Doctor said if I really wanted to I might be able to go shopping. He said I should be really careful if I go and take my walker. I don't know if it's worth it. I'm really having some depression right now anyway. I have a blog if you want to check out my new metal. Well I had my surgery Wednesday. Doc said I should be okay to shop but no real lifting and take my walker so maybe I won't get pushed around as much.

Not really, but I've decided I'm not gonna worry about it. Not sure when surgery is I go to schedule it next week.

I love my Vaio but I don't have a custom one. I had the Jack problem with a Toshiba. Seems any laptop can do it and some have it happen more than others. I had a friend fix it for all of a beer. Soldered on the jack for me and away we went.

I went to Michael's last year. It was great. Not as crowded as the other stores but great deals all the same. I have an artistic son and they had just what I wanted. Maybe we could get a list of all the stores that are excited and co-operative with the site, so we can patrionize them. I for one am more than happy to help a store that helps me.

I've got two x-boxs one lay down and one standing up they have both been returned for the red rings. Anyway you really need one with the hard drive. My newest one is an elite (sent in after 3 months for RROD) and it's nice with the HDTV connection has awesome picture on the HDTV I've got but looks good on the regular tv too. If you buy the memory seperately it is $100 just for the hard drive so you might get a better deal getting it with the xbox. You can also look on ebay for refurbished hard drives. Microsoft is really good at dealing with the red rings of death now. You have I believe a 3 year warrenty just on the red rings. No problem sending them in. It takes 2-3 weeks to get the xbox back. Both of mine they repaired and sent back but sometimes they just replace your old unit with a new one.
