Got mine ordered I hope. Can't wait to get it and the goodies. When I mentioned to DH that I wanted to order a Black Friday shirt he said, " I thought you weren't going shopping this year." Silly man!

I won't take my kids out for obvious safety reasons but another big factor for me and I haven't seen it mentioned is that my kids still believe in Santa Claus...so how do you explain what you bought and they see it on Christmas morning? I know alot don't do the Santa but I love it as do my kids and I just don't want my kids to grow up so fast. It's magical to me and to the kids and I won't ruin that until I absolutely have to. So no BF shopping for my kids. I didn't start taking my oldest until she was 16 and I needed her long track legs to go grab things for the little ones. Now she is 22 and had to work and so her 20 yr old sister is now my companion and DH stays home with the little ones, ages 9. 8, 7 and almost 5.

So I have every electronic device logged into amazon.com, my computer, kid's computer, and ipad. Got my girls waiting to hit the button in case one of our computers are running slow. Will it just automatically change to that lightning deal?

I really would like to get this deal so how can I ensure that I can grab it? I know I can't put it in the cart ahead of time do I just click on it. I have never done the lightning deal and even for me if it is 299 plus the 100 it will be worth it cuz you save on the tax and it would be one less thing to stress over on Friday at Walmart. It would be awesome if it was $250 but I'll take the other. So any tips to get it?

I got mine too and was surprised by the box as well. But they did come. I would love to order two more sets and give them to my students but the shipping takes too long and I can't risk them not being here before school lets out. But they are real with codes and everything. Awesome deal if you have the time to wait.

I've had it in mine for 2 weeks. Am I crazy to buy games for the xbox 360 that I haven't snagged yet? LOL!

If you don't mind used I would try a pawn shop. You can get some awesome deals.

I called best buy on Wednesday and theydidnt have any. I called all over. About a half hour after I called best buy they called me back and said they had just gotten in a shipment. They held one for me until I got there after worked. Tried calling again thenextmorning for a coworker and they were gone. Keep calling. I paid $99.

I agree and it makes me both sad and angry that ppl post things like this. I use layaway, I live paycheck to paycheck. I work very hard as a teacher and have been blessed to adopt 7 children. They are never hungry, they dress nicely, we live in a nice home and to say I shouldn't shop for Christmas is just ridiculous and very insensitive. glad you are so blessed. But you know what? I am blessed as well and think that layaway is a blessing. No I won't be using layaway on BF but in years passed I have stood in the line for an hour or more to place things in layaway on BF and paid it off three weeks later when we got paid again. It was quite a blessing to be able to budget my money that way.

I've priced matched for years. I make a notebook of the prices and where and I have all the ads with me. I've never had a problem.

What worries me is that walmart is notorious for pulling things off the shelf that you might price match. What if I buy the system at Hastings regular price earlier that day, hastings is about a mile from walmart, go into walmart at 9 will they give me the difference in a gift card per their Christmas guarantee?

Ok so Hastings is having a sale that starts at 9 and the 360 knex will be $199. Sooooo technically it's not black Friday yet...think walmart would price match at 9 so I can avoid the rush at 10 trying to get the system and the gift card? I can live without the gift card and could check out and go on and get the bikes I need. I justdont whether to go to Hastings at like 7, put one in my cart, check out at 9 and then high tail it to walmart. But really it's not black Friday. Think I would have a valid argument.

I like the car magnet idea and the binder to keep track of things or even a notebook. I make a Christmas notebook each year so would be nice to have one already ready to go. I agree with the long sleeved stuff even though I am from south Texas it is often cold here on BF

so much I love but I think my favorite thing is the rush of grabbing stuff and throwing it in my buggy and then off to the next store.

I have GOT to stay out of this forum! I got two of the About me books and thinking I need to get another two but DH needs to change the ink on the printer so I am getting the boot from the computer. Thanks!

Do you have the Lagoona Blue by any chance? For anyone interewted my Walgreens had a ton of the Teacup Piggies last week when I was in there. I think this is a great idea to help each other.

My Walmart seems to do something different every year! Last year we could wander around and put items in our buggies and then wait for the big ticket items to be distributed at 4. It's the one time I stay up all night. My daughter and I get there at about 11 and start wandering around.
