This will be my first year at Best Buy and from searching around the different topics what I have found (if I understand correctly) is for the big ticket items they will pass out tickets while you are outside in line at 4 am. Then you go in and pay for it. I am planning on the same thing but I want the computer.

That is a smart thing to do.

That is exactly my point, I would be sooooooo mad !!!! Not fair at all.

Thanks ! I have always just stuck with Wal-mart and know to expect utter chaos and no help from employees...hoping for better luck with Best Buy...seems they organize better for the big ticket items.

Last year they handed out a map here, however the things were not where the map said they would be.

This info has been MOST helpful. I am hoping to get a 189. desktop. I have never ventured to Best Buy before on Black Friday and don't know what to expect...which makes me nervous !

My 4 year old wants it all and I too am mostly done with him and now he is adding all this new stuff.

I don't think the drawing is very fair, it should be the first ten in line that get the system...just my opinion. I am a fan of first come first serve.

Wal-mart here is always crazy, but small town so it is only Wal-mart and Kmart to choose from.

I wish they would just have more items for the regular sale...

walmart always is
