  1. Last year was the first year I made this, but it was absolutely a hit. It went fast and I had made a huge amount of it. I found this recipe just browsing all over the web, but it is definetly a keeper. It isn't hot, just nicely spicey ! Sausage and Jalepeno Stuffing Ingredients: 3/4 cup butter, divided 1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped onion 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced 1/2 pound spicy Italian sausage, casing removed 1 (6 ounce) package cornbread stuffing mix 3 cups dry bread crumbs 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 2 cups warm chicken stock 1 egg, beaten Directions: 1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 9x9 inch pan. 2.In a heavy skillet, melt 8 tablespoons butter over low heat. Saute the onion and peppers until soft. Place sausage in skillet; crumble and cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, and transfer to a large bowl. 3.Combine sausage mixture with stuffing mix, bread crumbs, chicken stock, egg, and salt and pepper. Mix well, and transfer dressing to prepared pan. Dot with remaining butter. 4.Bake for 45 minutes.
  2. I don't have a lot of space so I use my closet, my son still is too young to snoop.
  3. One on Christmas eve, we usually get together with my sil's and let the kids exchange with each other also. The rest on Christmas morning.
  4. Thanks ! My experience with the Aqua Dot super studio hasn't been good. It was about 25 dollars and is really hard to manuever and use.
  5. Exactly ! They only did tickets for the 2 major items and they only had 2 tvs and 5 computers. They gave the tickets out before they let everyone in. No tickets would have been so so unfair there was an older man behind me that had been out overnight just like me and he would not have stood a chance on the tv which is what he was there for.
  6. A few hours before the store opened the manager kept coming out to just survey the line. I was the first in line (not a super center) I asked them if they were giving out tickets, he looked at me like I was crazy but came back out with tickets scribbled out on torn pieces of paper for the big screen tvs and computers. You would think they would want to for the big ticket items...for a little less stamped, but it is true a good amount left the line when they realized the big item was gone. I am all for tickets..first come first serve baby :).
  7. Well the past few years I have done early early Thanksgiving food. Get the ad from the paper asap to look at. Rest through the evening, then head out around 11-12 to get in line. Probably earlier this year, I have a thing about wanting to be first I guess because if I am first I don't have to worry about people cutting in front of me.
