The only adjustment I make is with the kids. I send them home with Grammy and Poppy after diner. We normally eat late since I am up early hitting the turkey day sales. So we eat around 5-6 and everyone is gone by 10 then I take a nap and off we go for our weekend away! Vicki

Ok am I just not seeing the doodle bears for $5 on there? Its been a rough morning so it could just be me but I only see them for $14.97. Am I looking in the right spot? My kids have been begging for these silly things and for $5 they just might get them! Vicki

You know this year I don't know what to do! We normally start at Kmart and get there at 5:30 and are normally #4-5 in line. But this year I may start at Walmart so I really have no clue what time to get there and what to even expect. Do you think 3 is too late? Vicki

I think the problem that lies in that is that you aren't going to Walmart on a Christmas day and there are holidays around the exact same time. Heck Hannukah starts on Christmas day this year! (Its going to be a confusing day in this house I am catholic and DH is Jewish so we celebrate both for the kids) Its not about restructing anyones life its more about including other religions who celebrate a holiday around the exact same time. Its just yet another thing thats becoming PC in this world. Heck I would love to get just a hello at my walmart but I think that might be too much for some of the employees at mine to do! UGHH Why does Walmart have to have good prices. I hate shopping there! Vicki

Thanks so much to the OP for posting this!! And to all those who responded! I have a ton of ideas now! I have kids in school 1 in kindergarten she has a teacher and full time aide, one in pre-k (at the same school) who has a teacher and 2 aides and then my youngest is in a special services school in an autism preschool class with a teacher, aide, case manager, speech therapist, OT, PT, and a sensory manager. So I am at a loss! I don't know who to buy for and what to even get so you guys have helped a lot!!!! Vicki

TRU will have the styling head and nighty night collection for $9.99. If you haven't already bought the Big Bratz babies and have a thing about your kids playing with dolls wearing thongs then I would avoid them! My 5 yo begged for one for her b-day so we figured its a baby how bad can it be? Well we took it out of the box and were shocked that the thing was wearing a thong! Not something I was too happy about having my 5 yo playing with, she even commented on it. Vicki

The one I got is similar but not interactive its just the light up one. I don't see the one I thought Big Lots carried so now I am wondering if its that one as well. The only place that I've ever seen give anything away by me was Big Lots and it was some cheesey wall clock that I gave to an older lady who walked in 5 minutes after me and was all upset she missed it! Hopefully this years will be a lot better then last year! I never get to Penney's or Sears in time plus sears has way too many entrances I would never stand in teh right one LOL. Vicki

My DD wants this but was wondering if it was worth the extra $$ and if I should wait till Targets ad comes out or just get it at Walmart? We have the little peoples house and a Fisher Price doll house already so was wondering if one more doll house was really worth it. TIA Vicki

my twin girls were really into a vanity set they had for $98 bucks each - yea right! Are they the plastic ones? If so if you have a big lots they had the new blue cinderella one for $29!! They stand up pretty nicely too. I got the one for my DD last year and as much as its been tossed around and knocked over its still intact and not a crack in it! Now I am hoping to get to the outlets a little earlier to hit that sale! Vicki

Its just my DH and I! We make a long weekend out of it. After diner my mom takes the 3 kids, Dh takes a nap and well I'm too excited to sleep. We hit the sales locally early. Jump on a ferry from NJ-Delaware hit the outlets there and then spend the weekend in Ocean City, Maryland. Thats why BF is pretty much my favorite day of the year! Vicki

My DD has PDD and got this when she was a baby she will be 4 and this is still her favorite toy! TRU.com had a learnin leap on sale a few weeks ago. Its the bigger one that you can program and you can get cartidges that tell different stories. Don't know if they still have it but I think it was on sale for $14.99. Vicki

I know I am getting antsy for these ads. Only 2 more weeks till BF and I need to know how hard DH has to work from now till then to make me my money spending money LOL. I love getting Christmas done in one day! Vicki

There really isn't much at TRU that is such a great deal, atleast not for me! Most of the stuff is only a few dollars more now online. Last year I hate TRU and I made DH stand in line as soon as we got there. I did the shopping and STILL waited in line for an hour. They only had 4 registers open and the line went around the store and they were only letting 5 people in every 10 minutes and ti was at around 8 am already when I got there. I don't think I'll be hitting TRU this year. Although doesn't look like I will be going many places with the way these ads look. As far as price matching I was told last month they do NO price matching at all not even to TRU.com prices. Vicki
