I'm right there with you! 5 days to go and I still have only half of my baking done. Haven't even shopped for the lunch trays for our best accounts. I still have a few things to pick up for DH. Then there is the teachers and my DD's class to buy goodies for. Plus I have to take the kids shopping for Daddy gifts and little things for each other. Then to top it off my #!%#$ FIL has decided he wants to do Hanukkah tomorrow night. UMMM HELLO its 8 days long you can't pick one of them. So that means I can get NOTHIGN done tomorrow night and friday I will have to deal with cranky kids while shopping since they will be out late tomorrow but still have to get up early for school! I need a drink! Vicki

Yeah they are insane!! I was going to order uniform shirts for my kids through them a few months back and they wants $11 to ship 2 shirts and they were only kids size 6 shirts! Vicki

I would have to say the Video Now XP's for 14.99 and then I got some of the pvds for half off at TRU. THen all the countless stuff I got on clearance at TRU and Targets. Vicki

We paid $30 for a 8.5ft white pine. Which is a rare tree to come by anymore. Thankfully the tree farm we use is still growing them not many around Southery NJ still do! Vicki

We have big swinging doors that go from out kitchen to dining room and kitchen to hallway that have glass panes. So I tape one card to each pane and I have wreaths that the kids have made on them as well. We keep them open since they are HEAVY and one whack with them could easily knock one of the kids out so it looks really nice. That reminds me I think i should probably get our cards out. That is if I can find the darn things! Vicki

UGHHHH I have NOTHING wrapped. Not a thing! I have a big walk in closet full of toys to wrap for my kids, plus DH's stuff, plus my 3 sisters, 1 brother and 2 foster siblings stuff. Not to mention my parents and FIL. Heck I still have more shopping to do. Plus I still have about 50 dozen cookies to make and wrap for gifts for our accounts for our business! Pass the caffeine I am going to need it! Vicki

UGHH I haven't even gotten a shipped e-mail yet and I ordered on 12/8. I am hoping it ships by Monday or I will never get it in time! Vicki

I ordered a new menorah through them sometime last week I believe it was thursday and the thing still hasn't shipped!! This is the first time I've placed an order on-line with them and wondering if this is the norm. I noticed that its now out of stock. I e-mailed them but haven't heard anything back yet. I am not doing good with on-line ordering this year at all!!! Vicki

I wish I had that luck this year!! I placed an order on Tuesday and ordered expediated shipping 1-2 days and I just got an e-mail that the item would take 3-5 business days to process and then be shipped 2 day air UPS. But I ordered through amazon and the order was placed through a different company. So DH maybe getting the print out of his $250 watch for Christmas! Vicki

This year we are changing things a little. My lil ones are really excited about getting something for each other, so they will open their gifts to one another on Christmas eve. Then they open their Santa gifts on Christmas morning then off to my parents for more presents. Since my inlaws are Jewish we celebrate one night of Hannukah with them. I'm just really excited for our change. I love that my children are so excited to buy each other something. My 4 yo has had something picked out for my 5 yo for weeks now. Heck he circled more for his sisters in the wish book then he did for himself! Vicki

I just hit the Dollar Tree on saturday and they had some really cool paper for a $1!. They even had some Strawberry Shortcake, Mickey mouse, Winnie the Pooh and Sesame street paper. Heck I was even able to nab some pretty cool Hanukkah paper as well. I also love Walmart's paper that benefits St. Judes hospital. Vicki

I went the first day the sale started and got a few things! At my store they said that all the little things were in b1g1 like the candy and little things for stocking stuffers! I got 4 toys and 6 candy things for $36! I saved my 15% off coupon just for this sale. Although I did get some things cheaper before the b1g1 when they had things randomly marked down. My kids are going to have a great Christmas and Hannukah this year!! Vicki

Not only does that thing eat batteries but I don't think ours ever worked right. The butterflies had to be bent a certain way before the kids could play and then some of them still didn't come out of his trunk. Waste of $$ my kids played it maybe 5-6 times before they even got tired of it not working. Vicki

I got there at about 7am and there was maybe 20-25 cars in the parking lot. I was a little bummed with their stock. I was able to get one of the last of the GBA games. We wanted to get the Chou CHou doll for my sisters step dd but of course they had NONE and from the sounds of it they never got any. Oh well they were very happy to give us a rain check. I may not even go tomorrow because what I really wanted they didn;t even have. Oh well. I hit Big Lots and got my DD's the barbie PJs for $4.99 that alone was worth the trip! Vicki

I didn't get Walmart or KB which of course are the 2 places I am going to. UGHH I really wanted to see what the video now XP comes with for $49.99 but I can't read it on-line. Can anyone tell me what it says please? Does it tell you what discs it comes with? Thanks Vicki

None here in South Jersey. Heck there was half the ads then normal this week! I was excited to see Targets though they had some great toy sales, of course there goes more of my BF stash! Are those sales good till wed or sat. I think DH threw it out already because I can't find it! Vicki

Are these usually in the paper? I am dying to know what they have for Thanksgiving and BF but I never see their regular ads other then on-line. Mine never comes in the paper and the store I go to never has any of their ads there. Thanks Vicki

I got mine on TRU's green tag sale last year and I think I paid $7 for it. It may have been less I know it wasn't much at all. I believe they were either $14.99 or $19.99. A lot less then they are going for on ebay! Vicki

Are you kidding me?? I just got rid of my kids talking Diego and now I see a used one on ebay for $50!! If you have a Value City check there they sometimes have older toys and I thought I saw some diego things for the house last time I was in there. Vicki

I wish!! Everytime I turn around we need something or find a killer deal! LIke today I got a $150 ceiling fan at Lowes for $70 I had been looking at it for months and NOW of all times it has to be clearanced so of course I had to get it. THankfully between my PTA duties and Turkey day baking and cooking I will NOT be out shopping till friday! Vicki

If you read the fine print of the ad it says something about the prices only being at partcipating stores. So the price difference could very easily be a regional thing. Which sucks I am sure in NJ they will be $488 we can't get anything cheap here. Vicki
