I got my son the ipod touch for either his 10th or 11th birthday and he's now 12 and still uses it all the time. I was always worried that my kids would lose the shuffle because of how small it is. My daughter drops stuff all the time and doesn't take care of her stuff very well so she has an mp3 player, she is almost 11, but has been asking for an ipod shuffle so we may go that route for xmas.

I thought last year the BF sale started on Thanksgiving at Walgreens. I remember being able to get all my stuff on Thanksgiving before we went to T-day dinner.

I thought I remembered that I got Walgreens & CVS out of the way on Thanksgiving Day last year.

I think because other retailers promised that you would have it on the day it came out, and I probably didn't read it and just assumed that's what every place did and that we'd have it that day. Every day he would come home from school and ask if it came yet, and if we could just go out and buy it... It was one of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, Scholastic delivered them to school on the day of the release.

Went back today and my daughter found a pair of shoes (flats) for $0.68! I got pants for $2.79.

And isn't Kmart open Thanksgiving morning every year for a few hours? I think that I read on here that some Target stores in Texas are going to do the same thing this year and be open in the morning for a few hours on Thanksgiving. Are they testing it out for all Target stores next year?

I pre-ordered a book from Amazon.com like 2 months before it was supposed to come out for my son, and we thought that meant that the book would be shipped to us so that he had it on the day it was released, well it wasn't. It was shipped on that date so he got his book like 4 days after it came out, and he wasn't happy about it, everyone else in school had the book before him. My point is that if you want something on the day it is released I wouldn't order it from Amazon again.

Once I bought a pre-lit tree I would never go back to one that wasn't pre-lit. But we never had any issues with lights going out. The lights are in the perfect place an look nice and you don't have to do the work.

We went to Menards the other day and walked through the Christmas section and my husband walked up to a white tree and said that we should get one, I said "I did last year after Christmas!"
