Don't feel sorry for your self. Once you get out there and get into the shopping swing you will be fine. I went by myself for the very first time last year and it was fine. This year my mom and I are going to head out.

I am sure they will have pretty decent sales that day. Most stores will and I can't wait.

Getting that first parking spot at 5 or 6 in the morning is usually ok, but every store after that is all down hill. I have seen more arguments over parking spaces and fender benders on BF than just about any other time . Last year at walmart a nissan pickup completely rams the passanger door of an illegally parked honda and keeps driving:gd_steeri . The door had a serious dent in it. Have you guys seen anything crazy in parking lots on BF.

I bought the coffee maker from Walmart for 4.77 and we don't even drink coffee. Don't even know how to work the darn thing. (Guess I got caught up in the moment ) But my mom and everyone who visits always use it. It seems to work pretty well. So it turned out to be a pretty good purchase.

It was not very cold, but it was VERY foggy and we live in an area with tons of deer so it was terrible driving .

I want to buy my 2 year old the fisher price Learn Through Music Plus Learning System. I have checked several stores in our area walmart, target, Kmart and toys r us. All the stores are out of it except one Toys r us who has two in stock and is holding one for me to pick up tomorrow. I guess I should go ahead and buy it and not hold out for BF. Better safe than sorry. I just have a feeling that some one will have it on sale during BF. Also I have checked walmart online and it is out of stock and Target online says that it will ship in 2-6 weeks in other words it is out of stock. What do you guys think? Also the TRU that has is it is of course about an hour a way:( TIA

I usually use cash or my debit card. The interesting thing was that last year at our Walmart they were asking for ID if you were using a credit or debit cards. I guess they must have had some problems.

Yeah whether I am with freinds or alone on BF I always end up chatting it up with people in line. It usually helps make the time go by faster. l

I generally leave my house about 5:00 AM and return home around noon. I usually hit a good 4 or 5 stores in this time period. I am also usually pooped by then . What about everybody else?

I usually get about 50% of my shopping done on BF. I then shop up until a couple days before christmas. I just love being in the hussle and bussle of Christmas shopping

I am not new to shopping on Black Friday but I have never taken advantage of price matching. How does it work? and what do you have to do? TIA

I think bringing older children is ok but definetly not babies. The year before last it was raining like cats and dogs and this women had a three or four month old baby with her. Everyone in line agreed that she could just wait in her car and reclaim her space when they were ready to open the doors. It was just too cold and to wet for a baby to be out side.
