  1. If you are looking to go with the least amount of money, then get a Gazelle. They are about 89-99 bucks. I love mine. I have been using it for over 2 years. It works every muscle in your legs and butt, too. If you keep your arms on the poles like you are supposed to, then there is a benefit to the upper body, too. Very easy on the joints. You do not bend the knees and the feet stay flat, so no slamming your feet and ankles. I lost 32 pounds 2 years ago and credit the Gazelle with getting my butt in shape and keeping it that way. HTH
  2. THAT is the type of attitude I run into at my ST. Like they want to challenge you on everything. Like it is coming out of THEIR pockets (the cashier's) The attitude seems to get worse everytime I go in there. I think the whole Choxie deal might of been the turning point. Every time I go in there, the "coupon rules" seem to change. One time it is "only 5 internet coupons per order" Next time, only 1 of ANY type of coupon per item, then 5 total coupons per order. I can't keep track of their ever changing rules!!! I leave frustrated and mad nearly every time. AND, I am not one who abuses the system. I never got 30+ free Choxies or anything! I used to LOVE Target, now, I go in there ready to do battle. It is exhausting. They make me feel like a criminal sometimes. My husband won't even go there with me, anymore. He gets embarrased when I stand up for my rights.
  3. If you have a family member who works for John Deere, you can get 10% off using their ID number.
  4. OK, thanks. That explanation makes sense. I still can't believe SOMEONE SOMEWHERE in Target land has NEVER caught this mistake! Oh well, it gives us GD'ers something to look for and talk about.
  5. OK, this thread is way too long to read it all, so I will ask. What is with the MM juice boxes? Is the price wrong in the system and NOBODY across the country in ANY Target has noticed it in all these months? Don't they have someone from corporate moniter these types of sites and see this kind of thing? Hard to believe no one has ever noticed this and corrected it....
  6. OK, great, this is what I was looking for. I just started signing up for freebies in January and did not know exactly what to expect. I have gotten some really nice things and I have gotten some real DOGS that were a waste of time. Such as the Almay lipstick "smear" on a postcard. Same with a perfume sample I got yesterday. It was a "DROP" of fragrance inside a foil cover. A very TINY drop, not even enough to actually put on your wrist to smell it! haha I believe it was Ralph Lauren Rocks. Looks like a little less than half is what we are seeing so far. Thanks to those who have responded!
  7. I thought it might be interesting to start a new thread for those of us who actually keep track of the freebies we sign up for. MOST of the time, freebie offers state you will recieve your item anywhere from 8-12 weeks. So, here is a place where we can all compare notes. Go back to 90 days or so and see what you have NOT received and post it here. Then the rest of us can see if we are all in the same situation. (I did not put this thread in the Freebies forum because it is not a thread describing how to sign up for a freebie. If a Moderator feels this is the wrong forum to put this in, please move it! Thanks. ) Feel free to modify, add or change the rules here. Include coupons you may not have gotten, complaints to companies that have not been resolved as they promised, etc. Vent your frustration! Here are the the freebies from the first part of January that I have not gotten: GM travel mug Degree Ultra Clear Doedorant Jergens Lotion MJ's Fragrant Oils Bug Away EmergenC cream and balm Sun Labs self tanning lotion Hogleg DVD RD weight loss pills Libresse Maxi pad Peterbilt key chain (finally got this one) Country Bob's BBQ sauce coupon to use at Wal Mart Tofutti Dessert James Verdorn note cards Star Cor nutritional supplement Breath of Heaven candle
  8. Women's at my store was an extra 50% and men's was just $1.99 each. Wonder why they went with two different formats? Anyway, I got a couple of men's denim shirts for the $1.99 Small will fit me OK. Nice quality for 2 bucks! They also had Pepsi products for 4 for $9. Now a days, that is a good deal. I think the days of 2 dollar 12 packs are gone. Something to do with the rising cost of sweeteners or shortage of corn due to the Gasahol or something.
  9. Our ST has sold beer and wine since the day it opened about 4 years ago.
  10. Where do you see a Target Pepsi coupon? I don't see it on the generator.
  11. http://www.imagecoast.com/images/kara1204/pp158.jpg testing....Hey, I did it! Thanks to whoever originally posted the imagecoast tip.
  12. YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is horrible. I feel for you..... :banghead:
  13. EVERY appliannce I have ever bought in the last 23 years has been from Sears. Washer/dryer (2 diff. sets) fridge (2 of them) stove, microwave, freezers (3 of them) dishwasher, water softener, water heater .........NEVER had a problem in all those years. Any replacements I bought were just to update, not because the appliance quit working. DH refuses to even look anywhere else when we ned an appliance. Maybe we have just been lucky...
  14. I am not worried about myself, but those of you who "clip off the expiration date" should worry. Don't wanna end up like the lady in O'Fallon Missouri. I also think the people who are trying to use 30 (or more) at a time are ruining it for the rest of us. That is not something to brag about. Then, some of them cause a real stink at the check out when the cashier will not take their 30 freebie coupons!
  15. You know, I love getting a deal just as much as the next person. BUT, IF I am doing something that is somehow considered FRAUD or a SCAM of ANY kind then count me out. I had absolutely no idea where this "generator" originated. Yes, the original intent of the creator might of been in our best interests and was truly helpful, BUT after reading the Choxie stories on this forum from users all over the country, I think that Target is WELL aware that there is a problem and has already begun addresing it by slowly starting to create new rules and limits associated with these coupons. You know darn well that those who were bragging about getting 50+ Choxie bars are going to ruin it for the REST of us why just want a good deal now and then. When the sh** hits the fan I do not want to be left standing there looking like a total idiot and be accused of fraud or any other type if illegal or immoral conduct. I thought I was doing something acceptable by using THEIR coupons that THEY handed out willingly and freely. OK, 'nuff said.
  16. I just had a nice long conversation with Target Guest Relations representative "Joan" about the Choxie coupon and the Target coupon generator in general. http://coupons.50webs.org/ <<<That one. She did not know anything about a "Target coupon generator" Apparently, this is NOT produced or sponsored by Target. She did not exactly say it was not legit, just that they did not know anything about it. She did say that if a web coupon scans, it is supposed to be accepted at the store level no matter what. Since these coupons DO scan, they are acceptable. BUT, since Target itself does not put these coupons on the web, they do not feel bound to carry enough stock to cover them all and WILL NOT offer a raincheck for the items. She suggested that you only use coupons found on the Target.com web site. If you look at the URL for the generator, you will notice that it does not in any way contain the word "Target." I never thought of it before today. Just a FYI kind of a post....
  17. THAT must be what happened when I tried it. It showed all the HTML coding instead of just the quote. I must of deleted some important part of it.
  18. It is called "Free Speech" Whether we agree with what they post or not, this IS the land of the free. They have the RIGHT to post what they want.......Not that I LIKE what they post, I still believe in FREE speech. Ain't America great?
  19. I know what you mean.....Somehow "Sweet Honesty" "Heaven Scent" and "Babe" do not smell as good as I remember them smelling 25 years ago. Oh dear, am I showing my age???? OK, someone tell me how to "Quote" just part of someone else's post and not the whole thing!
  20. Store it in a DARK cool place. LIGHT is what destroys perfume. If it comes in a box, leave it IN the box. I have perfume I bought in Paris 12 years ago that is fine. They are smart, they package it in a stainless steel lined metal bottle. No light gets to it in there. HTH
  21. It doesn't have to be ugly....it can be FUN!
  22. These are some of the same feelings I got when reading the Target site. The cashier's could learn a thing or two from the couponers! Since it is NOT coming out of THEIR paychecks, why do they care so much? All they need to do is be VERY clear what their particular store's policies are on ALL types of coupons and then simply follow the rules. They are letting a small thing ruin their day and becoming angry, bitter people. That is sad. Retail jobs are stressful enough without being an angry, bitter person. Geez, maybe they could make it a contest amongst themselves. Who had the thriftiest customer today? How much did they save? Did you ask them for pointers? Come on......make a game out of it and have fun! I must say, I spent about 30 minutes reading the Target posts and it was rather disturbing. Entertaining, but disturbing.
  23. This was back in the paper this morning. New code for $10.00 off $35.00 is FSMCH. Free shipping on orders over $60.00
