I am glad that I stuck around after BF last year. There are deals to be had here at GottaDeal ALL YEAR! So, don't fade away after Christmas, stay tuned for the rest of the year. You know you need a deal for all of those birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, bar mitzvahs, baby showers, graduations, wedding showers, etc. There are deals to be had here EVERY day! Add in the sweepstakes posts and you never know what you can win! I am not as hard core as some of the rest, but this year I won a Nintendo DS and a camcorder plus about 100 other smaller prizes throughout the year. You gotta admit, those are some great presents! Even if you do not NEED those kinds of things, you can always sell them on ebay and use the money for something you DO need. Lets not forget the Freebie posts. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. And, I have given this a LOT of thought. I even have over 200 bucks in "Play money" in my Paypal account and can not think of a single thing to spend it on. I guess my pleasures are simple. Material things are just a cherry on top of the cake of life.

My Walgreens Store Manager decided to be a turd about this $5 off coupon. My stuff rang up at $21.68 total. I gave them the $5 coupon FIRST and they said I needed to run through my other coupons FIRST. I had store coupons, Easy Saver coupons and Man. coupons. Of course, that brought it down to $12.XX. The store manager was near the new cashier and he told her to do it that way. I pointed out that it did not say on the coupon that the puchase had to be over $20 BEFORE coupons. He gave me a blank stare and refused to give me the $5 off. I paid the $12 and left mad. I would of let it go, BUT, this is the 3rd run in I had with this particular Store Manager. I decided it was time to do something about it. I wrote corporate through their web site and explained the situation. A day later, the Store Manager emailed, apologized and said he was sending me the $5. Today, I got CASH in the mail.

My Pharmacy was giving away all of it's old stock of Medical Alert Bracelets this week. I got one that says "Alzheimer's Patient" for my Dad. He does NOT have Alzheimers, but we accuse him of it all the time. I KNOW, it is NOT funny or "Politically Correct" for those of you who DO know someone with Alzheimer's, but my Dad will get a kick out of it. I will tell him to keep it......just in case.

I am guessing this is a no-name brand. Like the ones you get "free" when you buy something that has the batteries included. They last about 3 days.

Went back to try and place another order this morning after I saw the rings I bought for 5 bucks and change were going for 22 bucks+ on ebay. They are now "out of stock" Oh well, I will be thrilled to get the two I have ordered! That is, assuming FM does not decide to cancel my order. Keeping my fingers crossed on this one.....

I do not think they would have a "webmaster" working in the wee hours of Sunday morning to pull items from stock. Would they??????:confused:
