You will NOT catch me DEAD or ALIVE out there on BF. I WORK in retail, so the last place I want to be on BF is among the throngs of Mommies with strollers the size of volkswagons with screaming, crying, cranky kids hanging out of them!! NO WAY!! Last year, I found so many good deals via GottaDeal right here on the internet that I did not feel the need to go out. There are so many online retailers competing for your business it is crazy! A lot of them will offer free shipping and nearly all of them have a percentage discount that changes with the mood. Brad does such a good job of updating the online deals, too. It is a fun little game to wait it out and see how low they will go. Besides, I can sit here at 2 a.m. wearing a nightie, sipping wine while I shop! You can't do that at Wally World! Just my 2 cents....

Went to Wag's Tuesday. The summer clothes were all signed 50% off. Shorts had a tag stating 3/$10 OR $3.99 each. So...I take 6 pair up thinking they would be 6/$10. WRONG!! They called the TOP DOG store manager over and he says they will be $1.99 each. But, I point out, the manufacturer's tag says 3/$10, so, shouldn't they be 6/$10 now??? He says NO and walks away. No "Sorry" "Have a nice day" "Screw you" just "NO!!" So, I told the cashier to get them off my bill, I don't want 'em.

All of the reps I spoke with were KIND...but not able to override the system and just give me my flippin' 25%!!!! I just tried again, no luck. I have an email in to CS.....we'll see what that brings.

OK, I called again this morning as I was instructed last night. The Crocs I am trying to order are NOT on the exclusions list, it SHOULD work. After telling my story to 3 different CS people, I was left with the option of paying full price and waiting 10-14 days for a credit. BUT, I have a $45 GC, my order was MORE than that and I would have to "supplement" payment with my own CC and wait for a credit!! AAGGHH!!! She said the technical people were working on this glitch and it SHOULD be fixed by Sunday a.m. The promotion ends Sunday! She aplogized but said this was my only option at this point. This is my first ever dealing with Sports Authority.....might just be my LAST. The only positive side to this thing so far is that my calls seem to be taken here in the US. Not in India or something.

Did the Heely's qualify for free shipping? The 25% code says "not to be used with any other promotion" Maybe that is my problem? If so, how do you get rid of the free shipping on the order so tht you CAN use the 25%??? It is still not working for me.

I tried that code SEVERAL times and it told me my order did not qualify. Called the 888 number and lady told me there was a problem and they thought they had it fixed. Will Shutterfly allow you to use a free shipping code on the free photobooks we won from Old Navy? I am thinking that at one time I saw something that said codes could not be used on free promotional items. Has anyone tried this trick and succeeded? I really do not want to spend $6.95 to redeem a FREE photo book.

For those of you who have some free music wins from the Castrol/Syntec IWG, here is a way to get the most from the credits. If you are into Ambient music (GREAT to sleep to:yup: ) there are some Brian Eno tracks that are VERY long. I got a total of 170 minutes, 44 seconds worth of music for just 4 credits. I finally got the Reach Flosser today (I signed up Feb. 6) BUT----it was broken!!! Smashed in the mail. UPDATE: I wrote them and told them the flosser was broken and asked for another one, they sent me a $5.00 coupon to use on any Reach product.

STILL no GM mug or 7Up kit. LOTS of things I signed up for in Jan. I am giving up on. From Feb., I have not received: Reach Access Flosser Sensodyne Toothpaste Eucerin Lotion Optima Mug Crestor key ring pill box and about 30 things from "no-Name" type websites. I do not sign up for those type of things anymore. I stick to the name brand or manufacturer web sites, mostly, now.

I have learned a lesson here. About a month ago, I started to only sign up for freebies from manufacturers web sites. The stuff I never get seems to be from obscure sites that have nothing to do with the product they are offering for free. There is so much from Jan and Feb I signed up for and never got, I would run out of bandwidth trying to post it all here!
