I bought a few here and there and haven't had a problem yet (knock on wood). As long as the sellers are on the up and up, you can get some really good deals. Another thing to look for besides feedback and such is that the auction states some code hasn't been scratched off. It's not a deal breaker but if they need the code to order online, they can't.

I know the trees do go on sale here and there. We got ours a few years ago on sale. About 2 weeks before X-mas, all the trees were sold out.

Honestly, my 2 and 3 yr olds haven't asked for it either. With kids these young, it's usually the parents who see the toy, think their kids will love it, and then the search begins. My kids can watch Elmo in action on youtube for 15 minutes straight but I don't know how long they'll play with it when it's out of the box. They both enjoy lifting the flap on the box too. Maybe even more than Elmo himself.

I just tried a different Target than and they had a shelf full of 8 packs of GE Reveal lightbulbs for $3.15 with .40 peelies on them and the cashier let me use my $1 off 1 coupons on them.

$19.99? They could have them for $50 and people would still line up at 2am for them.

I asked the Customer Service cashier at Walmart about Elmo yesterday and she told me they'll have them on Black Friday. I'm sure they won't be a blitz item but they'll just have them in the store.

Wow, I keep checking them out and there are always plenty in the stores by me. I keep passing them by thinking that they won't be as hot as predicted.

Gee, my target had lots of candy on clearance. Still full price on the housewares though.

FYI, my Target said the Halloween stuff will start going on Clearance tomorrow (Wed). Maybe it will start at 30%, maybe 75%. they had tons of stuff left over though.

DS just turned 2 and we got him a Crayola easel which he loves and mega blocks which he likes, and a LeapFrog Telephonics toy which he loves. For X-mas he's getting a drum set and clothes.

I found a website that sells bacon bandages, tape and a bacon wallet. Anyone if your family that doesn't eat bacon?

I officially hate my target! I found those Smoothie makers. There were 8 on the shelves so here I am thinking I lucked out. Scanned it and voila! $29.99 I can't find anything good there. Got some South Beach Diet Bars marked down to .88 though. They're on sale at Stop N Shop for $2.50 each now.
