I'm really hoping to get those 600 thread count sheets and some of those $4 turtlenecks for the kids. When the doors open, where do you think everyone will run to first?

Thanks all! I stopped by the store and didn't see any so I called my mother in NY (I'm in NJ) and she has two from the paper that she's mailing out. Hopefully I'll get them by Wed. It' almost as if TRU doesn't want me to save money at their store.

No such luck. You will have to do it on BF while the sale is still on.

Target.com has them for $350 with 10% off. S&H is about $5.50 + tax. You might want to try Amazon.com too. They had the 30gb ones for only $232.

Thanks Anne. I actually got around that problem by just ordering the Ipod online. It was $250 - 10% which is $25 so with s&h and I only paid about $3 more. I just won't have it as soon but I can live with that I called to store to ask how many they had in stock and the lady told me "We have them but I can't tell you how many" I asked if she can't because she didn't know or if she wouldn't and she said they're not allowed to discuss the store inventory. Whatever:rolleyes:

I wonder if they tried to unload them at $75 and when the orders started flooding in, they bumped up the price.

I don't know what time they opened last year but I got there around 7:30 and they still had most of the freebies.

I sent corporate an e-mail yesterday asking them to verify their price adjustment policy for BF. I will definitely post the reply if and when I get it. I specifically asked about bonus or free w/ purchase items. We'll see what they say.

Well that's not very good. I didn't have problems last yr with the Norton rebates but it seems I got lucky with that. The ad actually says $69.99 - $5 instant savings - $20 easy rebate - $45 easy rebate. Maybe I don't have to deal with McAfee at all. It sounds like the rebates are all through Staples.

I'm a happy camper! I found a Hanes body slimmer with a clearance tag of $7.48, I scanned and it came up 0.00!!! I figured I would name a price of $5 but the cashier didn't even ask. She kept scanning and pressing buttons and what not and then she says that'll be $3.47:D Yay! Still full price on the Smoothie makers though... ETA: Just my luck, I just took it off the hanger and saw the size. It's a few sizes too big for me:sidesplit

So I was in Target today and I figured I'd ask at electronics about the Ipod (just to prepare myself for a fight) and the 1st guy I spoke to went on about how they won't know about bf sales until bf and blah blah blah. He still doesn't believe that I could have possible seen the ad but he asked a girl behind the counter and she just rolled her eyes and said they won't do price adjustments for BF. Looks like I'll have to call corporate.

Another Price Adjustment question. The video ipods are regular price with a $25 gift card with puchase. If I bought the ipod the Tuesday before, could I just come in on Friday with my receipt and get the gift card? That just seems too easy.

I zoomed in as best I could and I can't make out a cranky in the picture. If you have an AC Moore or a Michaels in your area that sells Thomas stuff, you can use their 40% or 50% coupons on the the pieces. I'm going tonight to get Cranky at 50% off. Much cheaper than TRU.
